What Does Sec. of State Clinton Know About Fast and Furious (and El Paso)?
by AWR HawkinsIn July, I had a post on Big Government about an article in the El Paso Times which detailed an alleged gun smuggling operation into Mexico from El Paso, TX and/or Columbus, NM. The weapons being smuggled were not part of the 2,500 guns Holder & Co. let walk into Mexico from Arizona, but were alleged to have been regularly transported from the Dallas/Fort Worth area into El Paso or Columbus in an operation overseen by Obama’s State Department.
The weapons smuggled weren’t .22 rifles, .410 shotguns, or pellet guns. Rather, we’re talking about “anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era [as well as] grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns, and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor.” According to at least one former DEA official and one “CIA contract pilot,” the weapons were being sold to drug cartel members in Mexico, where they were being stockpiled for use at an unspecified future place and time.
And just as I currently think of Holder when I read of the DOJ’s complicity in Fast and Furious (because the Attorney General is top dog there), so too when I read about the alleged smuggling out of El Paso and Columbus overseen by the State Department, I wonder what Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton knew (and knows).
With this alleged smuggling in mind, I re-read some of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s speeches on border violence from 2009 and 2010 and I found myself wondering: Is Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) going to question her on these matters?
After all, it was while in Mexico in March 2009 that Hillary delivered a speech on border violence in which she outraged Americans by blaming the U.S. for the crime being committed in Mexico:
We know very well that the drug traffickers are motivated by the demand for illegal drugs in the United States, that they are armed by the transport of weapons from the United States to Mexico.
And exactly one year later, in March 2010, she stood on again on Mexican soil and said:
We accept our share of the responsibility. As I said when I first came here a year ago, I think standing right here on this stage, the United States is your partner and your supporter. We know that the demand for drugs drives much of this illicit trade, that guns purchased in the United States – as we saw some of the examples outside – are used to facilitate violence here in Mexico.
The bottom line—to my knowledge Hillary has not been asked to explain the gun sales to drug cartel members that allegedly took place out of El Paso and Columbus. And that’s inexplicable, considering the State Department is allegedly on the hook for this mess.

Personally, I also feel that this administration also drug NYC into this operation in an attempt to portray gun shows as a threat to stability in Mexico, not just from border states but all states, and that appears to be exactly how it was set up. I am sure much of the evidence has been destroyed too. This administration fabricated a dangerous situation in order to provide the groundwork necessary to push through a set of much tighter gun ownership regulations especially how it pertains to buying and selling at gun shows. If only we had a real media in this country, it is all there ready to be exposed.
The Fed Gov't "Gun Running" is and has been HUGE – with the intent to do away with America's 2nd Amendment. Sec Clinton made it clear back in 2009 that it was Americans transferring the guns into Mexico when in fact, it has been the Fed Gov't all along.

This gun running stuff is getting beyond ridiculous. It is becoming more and more apparent that this is all about implementing domestic gun control. The Clintons are more adept at covering their tracks than The One. Will be a tougher nut to crack.

Hilary is one of those stating something to effect that 90% of illegal arms in Mexico were coming from the US. Come to find out that the majority of weapons going south were being run by ATF and the state department. At the same time this was transpiring, she was pressuring the US to sign on to the useless nations Small Arms Treaty.

It should not come as a shock to discover that the FBI, ATF, DEA, ICE, DOJ, and State were all aware of the gun running to Mexico. It might be surmised that is why Holder is doing his best to stonewall or discredit the whistle blowers to protect a variety of folks within various federal agencies.
This whole affair is so illustrative of a bunch of pointy headed dweebs attempting to effect a result by using tactics developed by a college debate team. When reality meets the vapors emanating from Barry’s White House people get hurt or worse. The road to utopia/Hell is paved with good intent. We must fix the mistake of ’08, for this kind of lunacy to cease. Come on 2012.

Holder's "stonewalling" is for the sole purpose of protecting himself and his boss….period. He doesn't give a fig about anyone else.

Those statements were quickly and easily proven to be UNTRUE, so these LEFTIST clowns set about making their own mis-statements of fact come true. They can NOT afford to have been wrong, so they exert their considerable influence to MAKE their scenario come true, at our expense. They have anonymous sources for their info., so people often question their veracity. However, I see more solid, real evidence emerging via these doc drops that substantiate their assertions, verifying these sources are telling the truth.

The United States government programs arming violent Mexican criminals with military weaponry isn't going to have the affect of justifying gun control in the USA. If anything, it's going to lead to indictments of those government officials who perpetrated these crimes. My God, thousands of Mexican citizens and a US Border Patrol agent have been murdered. How many of those murders were committed with weapons our government allowed to be purchased and transported there? Our government has conspired to aid and abet mass murder. I don't post over at Kos and I never did. I am easily bored by "mutual agreement societies". If I felt the way you guys do about issues… my interest in these discussions would go for about 5 seconds.
clearly, I'm argumentative and take pleasure in being the ants at somebody's picknick / rain on someone's parade. maybe there IS something wrong with me, in that, but I don't care. The way I see it- its a free country. Moreover, I value the "Socratic method". That may sound pretentious – implying that I'm here to offer "constructive" criticism. If I manage to do that then that's great, but I don't expect to be acknowledged.
If LaRaza is going to repatriate the border states it will be necessary for Mexico to arm it's citizens. And, since the elites in Mexico will not do so it is required that our political elites do just that.
I hope the American citizens living on the border states are ready for the armed invasion (not the illegal aliens) when it occurs.
