The First Amendment DOES NOT Protect #OccupyWallStreet
by AWR HawkinsThe good news: the hippies and freaks in Zuccotti Park were finally swept away by law enforcement a few weeks ago. The bad news: they simply took their protests to other places—homeless shelters, other public parks, bridges, and now retailers. That’s right, the clean upstanding citizens who are proudly associated with the #OccupyWallStreet movement are now occupying Abercrombie and Fitch, AT&T, Verizon, Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and a handful of other businesses.
Why are they doing this? By their own admission their goal is to occupy publicly owned companies and “hit the corporations that corrupt and control American politics where it hurts, their profits.”
What these little Marxists don’t understand is that a “publicly owned” company is a publicly traded one. Which means stocks of said company are owned by average, run of the mill moms and pops across the U.S. (either as individual stocks or in a mutual fund or in a 401K, etc.). So what these Obama-ites are really doing is not hurting Wal-Mart or AT&T as much as hurting the very hardworking Americans #OccupyWallStreet claims to represent.
But there’s a bigger problem.
Throughout this filthy, lice-ridden parade of human waste known as #OccupyWallStreet, the protesters have taken for granted First Amendment protections to act the fool and get away with it. However, the First Amendment in no way protects the kinds of things the occupiers are doing.
Just consider the text of the amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
When an occupier, whose mind is warped by Marxist texts and Obama’s speeches, reads that amendment he simply thinks he has the right to assemble and petition the government—period. What he doesn’t see is that he only has the right to do so “peaceably.” (Defecating on police cars, exposing one’s self to young children, raping and kidnapping, and occupying property that is owned by someone else does not fall under the heading “peaceably.”)
Moreover, what the occupier fails to understand because of his non-stop drug use and university indoctrination, is that occupying Wal-Mart or The Home Depot is not the same thing as “[petitioning] the Government for a redress of grievances.” In fact, it’s just the opposite—it’s shutting down commerce and crippling the economy because you want more free stuff.
Remember when the hippies protested the Vietnam War on the Berkeley Campus while Ronald Reagan was Governor of California? As soon as they damaged property he called out the National Guard and said that if they wanted a blood bath, he was more than ready to give them one. Reagan understood that the First Amendment didn’t protect lawlessness.
It’s time for today’s office holders to re-read the history of Reagan’s dealings with the hippies and freaks of his era. And after reading Reagan, and seeing how it’s done, it’s time to send in the National Guard and show #OccupyWallStreet the door.

Corporations are able to buy politicians and do corruption because: THE GOVERNMENT IS CLAIMING THE POWER TO DO THINGS THAT ARE OUTSIDE OF ITS CONSTITUTIONAL BOUNDS.

Why is this a surprise, that left wing idiots don't understand the difference between public and private business? That is why, if I am not mistaken, Barry Goldwater opposed parts of the 1964 civil rights bill, because it would force businesses to "accommodate" or allow access to their private property people whom they might not want to admit.
The Smoke Nazis pulled the same trick by first targeting "public" buildings like government offices and airports (which I am not sure fall under the category of public), then once that veil was pierced they decided that ANY business that allowed 'the public' to enter (in order to buy things) was suddenly a public building.

The Second Amendment states that American Citizens have the Right In Law To Bear Arms Against The Occupiers.

First off, I seriously doubt that most of these freaks have ever read any part of the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. I suspect that when they quote either document, it is not based on any personal attempt to read and understand the words of the Founders, but a regurgitation of what they've been told by the professors who indoctrinated them to believe the opposite of what the words mean.
Secondly, I equally doubt that they care if their actions are hurting the "average, run of the mill mom and pops across the U.S." who own stock in these companies. The primary intent of these socialists/communists/fascists/progressives is to confiscate and redistribute private wealth to themselves and other people like them.
Let me finish by stating that I have long endorsed the use of violence, including lethal force, against rioters and other criminal scum who target innocent people. Sometimes the only way people will believe that you mean business is if you kick their rear-ends hard and repeatedly.

I see that the clown who called for this whole "movement" is now calling for OccupyChristmas. You know, muck up the shopping season for stores which do perhaps 25% of their year's sales during the next four weeks. Just the thing for an ailing economy. He proposes shenanigans such as:
• a Santa sit-in, whereby protesters sit outside a store and encourage people to cut up their credit cards;
• a Jesus walk, where people put on a mask in the Holy Son’s likeness and walk through malls, to create an eerie sentiment;
• a “whirly mart,” in which would-be shoppers fill their carts with products but abandon them at the cash register.
The whole point is to get people mad and keep them from shopping. Brilliant.
So the smelly idiots who insisted that they were the middle class, the silent majority, the 99%, are now being directed to take action against…um…the…middle…class?

This is kinda alright with me, in a way. Canada Free Press had an article a few days ago titled "Black Friday and a Blue Texas" and named a list of companies that planned on donating a percentage of the purchase price of anything sold on Black Friday to the democrat party, and some of the companies listed in this article are on the list. My feeling is, if you are going to donate to this activity then you, AND YOUR CUSTOMERS, should feel the consequences of your support. So, at least on Black Friday, to all the companies that planned to donate to the dems and got protested by the auto-fecal specialists, i hope your customers enjoyed their experience.

Hippies are pretty well understood: they want free health care, free food, free lodging, free education all the way up to tertiary. Oh, and they do not ever want to have to work, ever. In order to achieve these things for themselves, they want to establish as much socialism as possible: socialism is pretty much the paradise all hippies long for.
Now, you and your little buddies want a system where I am forced, under threat of going to prison, to work, and then pay, for all your 'free stuff'. From my point of view, that is slavery. From your point of view, it is 'social justice'.

First amendment rights don't cover infringement on everyone elses' rights – the right to be able to go to work in safety, the right to operate your business without fear of being vandalized by a protest mob, the right to simply come and go in public areas and on public throughfares without being blocked by narcissistic juveniles demanding they be given what they want, on threat of violence and mayhem.
And that IS what these protests are – a more genteel form of extortion. It's 'give us what we want, or we'll block traffic. We'll block sidewalks. We'll take over public parks as our own, prevent anyone else from enjoying them, and trash them. Try to enforce the laws we break, and we'll throw rocks and bottles, use knives, even make homemade bombs – and use them all on you. Then we'll cry brutality and suppression of free speech when we're arrested. And the ACLU lawyers will bail us out so we can start all over again.'
It's a young adult temper tantrum by kids who grew up never getting real discipline, never being told 'No', never being taught to work for what they want, never learning they can't have everything they want just by screaming for it like a 3 year old in a toy store.
The first amendment does not protect *these* things – and make no mistake, they ARE what OWS is about.
What I'm waiting for is a coherent explanation of their long list of complaints, presented in lucid English, including an intelligent list of constitutionally correct, economically justifiable changes they think would set things right.
I'm prepared for a long wait, because it's never going to happen. What we're forced to listen to is incoherent, ignorant and ridiculous whining from people who are unprepared to hold a job or live as adults, egged on by union thugs, environmental whackjobs, communists and media hoping for bloodshed.

The economy is struggling. Federal, state and municipal finances are struggling. What does Occupy contribute to this situation? They have generated around thirteen million in municipal costs. Disrupted business. Now they're encouraging boycotts of retailers during the Christmas shopping rush. They do their best to compound stresses on a struggling system. The more economic pain that results, the better their odds of recruitment, and the greater their chances of inciting mob behavior in their rank-and-file.

Look at the Occupy supporters: Iran, Hamas, North Korea. Joining these enemies of America in their support of Occupy, is President Obama and the Democratic party. Well that figures.

I've discussed with a few liberals recently, and I've found a very disturbing trend.
Some don't believe in inalienable rights. They don't believe that people have any actual Right other than what society (IE the Government) grants them.

The occupiers claim the 1st Amendment protects their actions. Indirectly, it does; although not in its language.
The amandment also includes the clause "abridging the freedom of …. the press. When those granted this frredom misuse it to glorify and protect from scrutiny these lawbreakers, instead of upholding society's norms, they provide protection.
Reporters consitently fail to ask any real questions of these scumbags, such as: " what part of the 1st Amendment protects your lawbreaking acts?" or "when you break the law, doesn't that make your assembly no longer 'peacable'?"
The greatest threat to our society is those who think freedom of the press means reporters are free to promote one side of a story and denigrate or ignore the other side. That is not keeping the people informed.

Well, you can Google 'corporation' and learn when it began. A corporation is NOT a political entity. It is a tax ID issued by the IRS called an Employer Identification Number, an entity which has self contained income and expenses separate from an individual taxpayer. It is also registered in the state where it is physically located. When people 'incorporate' they have a stated purpose to do business. The source of creating a corporation is from England. The purpose of creating a corporation is to limit the liability of an individual doing business,encouraging the making of profit and employing others to help make that happen. This has been the basis of the tax code until this administration. If a corporation is not making a profit the owners will go out of business or move to another country where they can make a profit without the taxation, regulation and union harassment they are experiencing here and in Europe. Hate corporations? Run them out of the country? Actually the Democrats need business because without the taxes they pay how would government redistribute wealth? Democrats have learned how to circumvent their legislative responsibility and are forcing regulatory expenses on corporations through bureaucrats like EPA, etc. that suck money from the corporations outside the tax laws with no right of appeal.
You mean the education system monopolized by the government who has systematically eliminated all other options for education?
Yes if I am forced to pay for a monopoly then I am going to use it.
The author Mr. Hawkins and the commentators might want to go ahead and take their Prozac and/or Thorazine. One would think OWS has nothing to protest. So, lets see. We have little Marxists going against “publicly owned” companies. You know, those wonderful people like GE, International Paper, Capital One financial, Verizon Communications, Boeing, Corning and at least 78 other Fortune 500 companies that paid NO federal tax in at least 1 of the last three years (some in all three years). All nice and legal like. No smell, no dirty CEOs. Just good people.
OWS hurting hard working Americans. Not like AIG, Citibank, JPMorgan, CountryWide, Freedie Mac, Fannie Mae, First Bankcorp and over 900 others that feed at the TARP trough. All smelled real good, clean, nice hair, good teeth. Not a bit like the "filthy, lice-ridden parade of human waste" in OWS. Nope, nice and legal.
So lets turn to that "non-stop drug use" and "university indoctrination" thing. So, I bet well over 90% of the CEOs that received the $760 Billion for "shovel ready" jobs have a college degree. I wonder who could afford the better drugs, the millionaires at the trough or the OWS.
Ronald Regan ready to give a blood bath. Well, lets turn to Ohio, Governor Rhodes did give a blood bath, 4 dead at Kent State. Before you gloat about hippies getting killed, two of the killed were merely leaving a building to go to their classes. Simply walked our the wrong door at the wrong time and got killed by high powered military weapons. Of the 9 wounded not one was within 200 feet of a guardsman.
So we have petition the Government. You know, like Congress that gave us TARP, shovel ready jobs, Solyndra, the Fed.Reserve, wars in Iraq ($1.3 trillion over 10 years, 4400 lives, accomplishments: 0, end result:getting kicked out), Afghanistan (the bodies just keep on piling up and no light at the end of the tunnel), free trade (that NAFTA thing that sent all of the jobs away), our tax code (15% for millionaires, 35% for workers), etc.
No, like them or not, OWS is not illogical.
I just love the comments talking about "useful idiots." The commentators here are not even that, mere butt boys for the Corporate elite.
