Fast and Furious Update: 17 House Members and the NRA Seek Holder’s Resignation

All 17 of them have called for Attorney General Eric Holder to turn in his letter of resignation over Fast and Furious and his seeming inability to tell the truth.
Representative Burton (R-IN), in particular, is tired of Holder’s lies, and he was tired of them before Fast and Furious was even a reality. In fact, Burton never thought Holder should have been confirmed as Attorney General to begin with.
When I was chairman of government reform and oversight during the Clinton administration, we had Holder before my committee a number of times and he misled the committee. In fact, he lied. During his confirmation in the Senate, I sent a letter to the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, [Sen. Patrick] Leahy, and I sent it to the other members of the committee as well, and I cited specific cases where Holder had not been straight with the committee and I said he should not be confirmed.
And now that Fast and Furious is the topic Holder’s lying about, Burton adds: “I don’t think he’s a trustworthy Attorney General. He’s a political animal. He’s more concerned about politics than he is about what’s right for the country.”
An example of what Burton means by describing Holder as a “political animal” was given us recently, when U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jesus Diaz was sentenced to two years in prison “for improperly lifting the arms of a 15-year-old drug smuggling suspect while handcuffed.” Representative Hunter (R-CA) has trouble stomaching such duplicitousness: “Reports indicate that the Justice Department cited the incident as a deprivation of the smuggler’s constitutional right to be free from unreasonable force, which is something that I find hard to comprehend under the circumstances.”
Just think of it – our Attorney General has yet to grant “victim of crime” status to Brian Terry’s family, even through Terry died via weapons from the government-sponsored program called Fast and Furious. Yet Holder finds time to prosecute a Border Patrol Agent whose only “crime” was violating the constitutional right of a non-citizen (who is an alleged criminal) by lifting that alleged criminal’s arms in the wrong way while he was handcuffed.
How crazy can this world get?
I’m happy to see that the NRA has also entered the fray against Holder. They are running ads that highlight his lies and call on President Obama to give the Attorney General his walking papers.
But my concern remains singular: I don’t want Holder to be allowed to resign and walk away from the literal death and carnage he knew about and covered up. He needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and after prosecution, placed in a cell from which there is no reprieve.
Representative Gosar (R-AZ) did not go too far when he described all administration officials responsible for Fast and Furious as “accessories to murder.”
Holder is not only a liar, he is a criminal.

Mr. Hawkins is right. Holder should not be allowed to resign and walk away free albeit in disgrace. He is complicit along with Obama and many other regime officials in the death of Brian Terry and thousands of Mexican citizens. They all belong in a cell at Gitmo.

One has to wonder when this entire country will wake the phuck up to all of the criminal elements and activity within the walls of our government. Holder must be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but he has the full support of this administration, and since THEY are in charge, expect nothing to happen to him…..

Ever since I watched in disgust the blind eye that was turned by the AG's office in the Philly New Black Panther case, I have railed for this waste of skin to be canned. This egregious project has been exposed for almost a year. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered by one of these guns on December 10, 2010. Darryl Issa has been uncovering the lies by the DOJ for months. Why is nothing being done to bring the criminals of our government to justice? I am at a loss for an explanation.

I don't want his resignation so much as an INDICTMENT. If there is not one already, some patriot in Congress, if there is one, should initiate a secret grand jury.
Same thing delayed my initial start of treatments. I visited the sites throughout the weekend but pretty much avoided comments as mind wasn't into it. Have two appointments today and one tomorrow so I'm catching up in between. Had a family meeting with kids on current events and our purposes of late related to it. They handled it well and are on board. Will take some time for it to sink in and questions will follow, as some have began already. Still have my two to speak with as well.
They are recognizing news events now and seeing the correlation better since the talk. One thing's for certain, this administration doesn't let one down when needing evidence of anti-Constitutional activity to prove a point….shame our representatives don't see it that way…..as a collective…..

Eric Holder is more concerned about politics than Attorney General is a very true statement and that is precisely why Holder was "hand picked" by Barack Obama. They both have the same ideology. Both are criminals also.
It's obvious Fast & Furious, & now Operation Wide Receiver, were used to put firearms into the Mexican drug cartel member's hands with intent to later demonize certain weapons here in the States & get them banned. Eric Holder finally got the assault weapon banned passed through under Clinton & he tried it again with these two programs. Hillary Clinton was the first to say the majority of guns going into Mexico were coming from the U.S., when if fact that was proven to be wrong. But, as these weapons bubbled up & climaxed with the death of a Border Patrol officer, the sinister nature of these programs came to light. We've also seen coyotes on camera, carrying these weapons from Fast & Furious as they escort illegals carrying drug packs into the State of Arizona. I wonder if these weapons provided another role of literally arming drug cartel members to assist in getting more illegals into the United States?

Just about to reply when the Nestmate and I had to break up our bullmastiff apart from the neighbors' pitbull who broke from his chain. Their dog strayed into our yard and that's a huge mistake for any dog that don't belong here. Our dog is confined within an electric fenced in area and doesn't cross it. That's the second time their dog got loose and entered our yard but first time they scrapped together. We may have serious problems if there's a third time….my dog won't be harmed…
