Operation ‘Fast and Furious’ has taken a new turn.

Late Friday night, the Department of Justice (DOJ) released documents that show Attorney General Eric Holder was alerted of border patrol agent Brian Terry’s death the day it occurred- contradicting Holder’s statements when he testified before the House Judiciary Committee on May 3, 2011. At the time, Holder said he was informed of Terry’s murder only “a few weeks” before the hearing.

Matthew Boyle at the Daily Caller has the story:

“An email from one official, whose name has been redacted from the document, to now-former Arizona U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke reads: “On December 14, 2010, a BORTAC agent working in the Nogales, AZ AOR was shot. The agent was conducting Border Patrol operations 18 miles north of the international boundary when he encountered [redacted word] unidentified subjects. Shots were exchanged resulting in the agent being shot. At this time, the agent is being transported to an area where he can be air lifted to an emergency medical center.”

That email was sent at 2:31 a.m. on the day Terry was shot. One hour later, a follow-up email read: “Our agent has passed away.”

Burke forwarded those two emails to Holder’s then-deputy chief of staff Monty Wilkinson later that morning, adding that the incident was “not good” because it happened “18 miles w/in” the border.

Wilkinson responded to Burke shortly thereafter and said the incident was “tragic.” “I’ve alerted the AG [Holder], the Acting DAG, Lisa, etc.”

Here’s another example that shows just how ‘accepting’ liberals are of people from all walks of life.

High School teacher Al Levie refused to accept an MLK award from Rep. Paul Ryan because, well, Paul Ryan is a conservative no matter how Levie tries to frame it. Levie stated that “Paul Ryan has no business being at an MLK event.” That’s a pretty bigoted action.

Sydney Volanski, a 15-year-old who left the Girl Scouts of the USA and spoke out over the group directing the young members to liberal media group Media Matters for America, appeared on Fox and Friends to talk about the ordeal.

Sydney says the organization also promoted Planned Parenthood and abortion advocacy. In response she started a website, Speak Now: Girl Scouts, with the goal of exposing liberal bias within the Girl Scouts.

“Media”, the book given to the young girls which encouraged them to visit MMFA, is a publication made for those in grades six through eight that shows how they should process and understand the media messages around them. (more…)

LANGUAGE WARNING – Dozens of Occupy DC protesters were arrested on K Street in Washington D.C. today for obstruction of a public highway. When we at MRCTV arrived, police began the process of arresting the participants.

However, while the protesters were lying in the streets, blocking traffic, and refusing to move, one Occupy participant warned them to move because they did not have the money to bail them out. We interviewed him while the arrests were underway and he told us they were not instructed to be arrested at that given time. The protester insinuates, like other videos have shown, arrests from the Occupy movements are staged as theatrics to draw attention to the group- which one attendee told us off camera.

Officer Hugh Carew from the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department told MRCTV that 62 people have been arrested. Of the 62, the public affairs official stated 61 were for obstruction of a public highway. He was unsure about the last arrest.

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all from the “Occupiers,” last night Occupy San Diego held a moment of silence “for the guy who shot at the White House” during a protest outside of the San Diego Police Department headquarters.

On November 4, 2011, Occupy DC flocked outside of AFP’s Defending the Dream Summit held at the Washington Convention Center and began protesting. During the course of the events, the situation turned violent. One instance involved a mother using her kids to blockade the door in which MRCTV’s Stephen Gutowski caught on tape.

By sheer luck, just days before on October 31, MRCTV’s Dan Joseph asked the lady why she believes the cops haven’t broken up their living headquarters at McPherson Square. She responded by saying it was politically expedient for the cops to let them continue.

On November 8, MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall caught up with the lady as they were protesting downtown in retaliation to what happened at the AFP summit. She told us that her and her children ‘protest together’ and that she doesn’t regret placing her kids in front of the door and will continue to do so. She also said it was the police who put her children in danger.

Yes, this really happened.

Occupy Denver’s General Assembly voted on a leader and chose a three-year-old border collie named Shelby to head the group.

According to the group’s website, this was done after Denver Mayor Michael Hancock insisted that Occupy Denver choose leadership to deal with city and state officials.

An uploader on YouTube said Shelby was elected because “she is more of a person than a corporation is and less corrupt than most people.” Shelby is the first elected “leader” of the Occupy protests.

Now, some may say they were “clever” by electing the dog as a slap in the face of the Mayor, but they also set themselves up for criticisms and jokes directed at them by electing a…dog. (more…)

In fact, the questions are almost exactly the same, so most of these people could have been polled by the magazine, having an advantage to this basic knowledge quiz.

While in attendance at Occupy DC, protesters told MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall that despite President Barack Obama being the number one recipient of Wall Street cash, they still support him. Keep in mind these are people who ‘claim’ they want Wall Street money out of politics and ‘claim’ they are not Democrats or Republicans.

In other news, the ‘Occupy’ protests recently picked up endorsements from both the Communist and Nazi party.

On October 6, 2011, Medea Benjamin, head of radical anti-war group Code Pink, told MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall at ‘Occupy DC’ in Freedom Plaza that unions are not behind the formation of the recent demonstrations, despite the SEIU’s Stephen Lerner being one of the people behind the initial ‘Day of Rage’.

On August 19, The Blaze reported the following on Lerner:

“Now, the US Day of Rage protests, staged by a collective of activist groups allegedly in conjunction with Lerner and Rathke, are planning the actual “occupation” of Wall Street September 17, complete with a tent city set smack-dab in the middle of Manhattan’s financial district.  Similar protests are purportedly set to take place across the nation — and even world — at the same time. Some Day of Rage organizers are even calling on activists to squat in Manhattan’s financial district for months at a time.”

When asked about the SEIU organizer, Benjamin- whose organization is supporting the demonstrations- said he was not part of it and the likes of Van Jones and Stephen Lerner did not want to even touch it, despite Van Jones promising an ‘October Offensive’ and progressive uprising. Jones held a rally outside of the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. on October 5, 2011.

On September 21, 2011, Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) spoke to a crowd gathered in Washington, D.C., outside of the Capitol and said, “We need some of you probably getting arrested for doing things you shouldn’t be doing” to save Medicaid.

Also, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont), who is a self-avowed socialist, told MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall he was at the rally to ’save’ Medicaid and that Republicans care more about representing the ‘wealthiest people in the country’, large campaign contributors and ‘hedge fund people’ than working and low-income families.

As the CWA picketing of Verizon continues it seems some of the union leadership is becoming more and more unhinged. Apparently one member of the union leadership went so far as to instruct his members, by way of publicly accessible telephone hotline, that it is now “open season” on “managers and scabs”. The thug went on to say that union members should “follow them” and “torture them, torture them with chants and noise”. (h/t Moon Bat Tracker)

The best part of WSYR’s report, though, has to be when they call another union boss to ask them about the ridiculous instructions and the guy basically says they’re cool with it. According to him there’s nothing wrong with “militancy”. How insane can you get? Is it any wonder that unions have such a terrible reputation anymore? Have they not earned it?

The sad thing, as the Verizon rep WSYR interviewed alluded to, is most union members aren’t violent nuts. Most of them just want to go to work, make a living, and support their families. It’s thugs like this that give them all a bad name.

The recent media action line regarding the Tea Party is that they are indeed “terrorists”. On top of the media, Rep. Mike Doyle (D-PA) stated, “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.” Vice President Joe Biden quickly followed up with the remarks, “They have acted like terrorists” in regards to the debt ceiling negotiations.

Given the media and some liberal politicians were driving the “terrorists” meme home at every opportunity, Rasmussen asked 1,000 likely voters whether they agreed. Out of the respondents, 29% believed they are, while 71% believed it was an outlandish accusation.

MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall went to the nations Capitol to see if people were buying into the organized effort to paint them as such.

On July 28, 2011, former Green Jobs Czar Van Jones attended the Rebuild the Dream rally held outside the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. and said Americans don’t bow down to “hostage taking tactics” and the GOP is putting “a gun to the head of 310 million people”, in regards to the current debate on the debt limit.

Jones told MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall:

“Any faction in America that would put a gun to the head of 310 million people and say ‘If you don’t do it our way, we will blow your dreams away, we will blow a hole in the American economy’, that is un-American. That is not how we do business, and we refuse to bow down to those tactics.”
