Does this sort of thing ever happen at a Tea Party? I can’t think of one Tea Party protest, anywhere, that has involved the premeditated tactic of breaking the law and getting arrested.

Yet it is the Tea Parties that are a smeared by Democrats as a violent threat to national security?

It’s official. There is now a Tea Party Caucus in the Congress of the United States of America.

Representative Michelle Bachmann filed the paperwork late last week, and the approval was granted almost immediately:

They will be holding their first meeting tomorrow at 9am Eastern, followed by a 10am Press conference.

Response from the Left has been about what you might expect. Steny Hoyer took the opportunity to repeat the race-libel against the Tea Party:

“The Tea Party per se I don’t think is racist.”

Jesse ‘Jacko’ Jackson is accusing Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert of behaving like a slave master.

“He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers,” the reverend said in a release from his Chicago-based civil rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. “His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave.

Jacko is responding to an open letter Gilbert wrote to Cleavland fans in response to learning his star basketball player will departing for Miami. Here are some excerpts of that letter, which is available in full here.

…. You simply don’t deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

….This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown “chosen one” sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And “who” we would want them to grow-up to become.

It might be a poor business decision to write such a letter. You might even fairly characterize Gilbert of being a poor sport, but is there any evidence at all whatsoever that Cleveleand Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is a racist? Has he ever purposefully insulted/attacked/or otherwise denigrated anyone based on their race? If Gilbert is some kind of Marge Schott of basketball, he should be outed.

In tracking the response to the launch of the site and petition to draft Sarah Palin for the Chairmanship of the RNC, we have seen varied reactions ranging from enthusiasm, to curiosity, to skepticism, to racist bigotry, to deafening silence.

One common denominator in near uniformity, however, is the consensus that Michael Steele is, at best, ineffective as Chair of the RNC for one or more of the following reasons.

As to who, the answer can only be Sarah Palin. Why? Notwithstanding the reasons we have outlined here and here, it is because she will raise more money and command more control over the media narrative than ANY other Republican in the field. Seating Sarah would also set the Progressive-Democrats on their heels, forcing them to ratchet up their vile PR smear campaigns.

An old family friend, Daniel Sinykin, sends in the following video of his potential solution to the BP Oil disaster. His idea is an improvement on the hair based techniques that have received attention in the wake of the ongoing spill. (According to one report the hair booms are not being used because in early tests they became water logged and sank.)

In the following clips, Daniel demonstrates the potential effectiveness of using high density wool to soak up the oil.

Daniel is hoping for two things over the coming days and weeks. First, he hopes that field trials in the Gulf prove successful. And second, he hopes that he can get the attention of BP and Federal Government.

Below is a brief roundup of some of the Progressive-Marxist non-violent rioting that took place over the weekend in Toronto.

Progressive-Marxists hate the G20, and have declared it illegitimate.

The actions started with a raid on the University of Toronto campus, where “street weapons” were found, as were the black ‘uniforms’ of the Anarchy faction of the Progressive movement known as the “Black Bloc”.

More than 600 arrests as G20 protests swell

The day had begun with a raid during which security forces made 70 arrests at the University of Toronto campus in the early-morning hours. The Integrated Security Unit said they seized a “cache of weapons” including bricks and other “street weapons” as well as black clothing.

Toronto Police raided the building and took about 70 people into custody.

“We’ve seized bottles with unknown substances inside, we’ve seized black clothing, bricks, sharpened sticks, items that you definitely do not need to spend any time in Toronto,” Constable Rob MacDonald said.

That’s the same type of weapons and clothing that violent protesters used in the downtown core.

This weekend (starting today) looks like it is shaping up to be the next chapter in the ongoing Progressive-Marxist revolution now underway across the globe. Previous chapters of the revolution include, but are not limited to, the 1999 WTO meeting in Seattle, the “anti-war”* protests during the Bush presidency, the 2004 and 2008 protests against the Republican conventions, the Bank of America protests, the Gaza Flotilla movement, etc…  *The asterisk marks the discredit earned by the “anti-war” movement through their silence since President Obama took office, despite the continuation of the wars allegedly being protested against.

The Gaza Flotilla incident, which would really be more aptly called the Hamas Flotilla incident, needs to be viewed from a wider perspective to be more fully understood and appreciated for what it represents – A Marxist-Progressive Jihad on Israel, and by proxy, the United States, wherein the American Progressive Left is engaged in an open and working relationship with Islamist radicals.

The Hamas Flotilla action was not an isolated event. It was but the latest in a carefully programmed series of actions that have been taking place since Hamas took over the Gaza Strip in a violent coup in 2007, designed by community organizations that have been operating in the region since at least the mid-1990s.

The umbrella organization of this recent series of actions is called the Free Gaza Movement, and represents several international organizations, as well as many prominent American Progressive organizations.

The international organizations include George Galloway’s Viva Palestina, IHH, and the International Solidarity Movement (ISM).

The American Progressive community is organized against Israel under the banner of the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation.

The US Campaign to end the Israeli Occupation is a co-production of Global Exchange/CodePink/United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ) (All founded by Medea Benjamin), and a group called the Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR).

The Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR) has been organizing on the ground in Palestinian territories since 1996.

Regarding the recent Gaza flotilla incident…predictably, Progressive Democrats are blaming Israel. In a most intriguing case of egomaniacal projection, they are calling it “Israel’s Kent State!”

The unflappable pro-Gaza writer, MJ Rosenberg, even goes so far as to blame the current lack of knee-jerk condemnation from America toward Israel on the ‘Zionist controlled Congress.’

Meanwhile in Washington, the word is that Obama will ease the pressure on settlements and the strangulation of Gaza to keep pro-Israel donors to the Democratic party writing checks for the November election.

I certainly don’t know what will happen. However, given that nothing has changed since Bibi’s last visit, any demonstration of love from the administration will be proof that US policy is dictated by campaign contributions.

The usual suspects are already rushing to offer the usual double talk to defend what Israel did. Here is typical claptrap from the Israel-is-always-100%-right American Jewish Committee. AIPAC and its media acolytes are also out there to tell us that the Israelis are the victims, and if you don’t think so, you are an anti-Semite. Or a self-hating Jew.

But the massacre happened in international waters and the attack was launched by military commandos against civilians trying to relieve other civilians suffering under an illegal blockade.

There is only one spot in this country where the lobby will be able to sell the story that the humanitarian flotilla was the aggressor and that Israel is the victim here. That is the United States Congress.

Despite Rosenberg’s preemptive straw-man charges that he is an anti-Semite or a self-hating Jew, we will take him at his word that he is neither of those things. But in the case of the writing above, we might accuse him of having a small problem with bigotry.

Unless you are brand new to the Blogosphere, you are very well aware of the thuggish protests organized by President Obama’s closest political and community-organizing allies, targeting Bank of America and its employees.

Potential motives for these actions have been examined, but there are a couple that we would like to add to the mix because they deserve some attention. Motives #1 and #2 have been covered on the Bigs, but motives #3 and #4 might be the most important.

Motive #1 – SEIU owes Bank of America $90 Million! – One of the organizers of this type of campaign owing nearly one hundred million dollars to the target of the action should offer deep context and insight as to motive.

Motive #2 – Shaking down the banking system for a Shorebank bailout – Known as the “community organizing bank,” this Chicago institution was facing total collapse, but around the same time as these bank protests, the very banks who were the targets of the hostile action made generous “contributions” to the dying leftist ATM known as Shorebank. You do the math.

Almost everyone we spoke with believes going to private home of a bank employee is deplorable.

Almost everyone we spoke with thinks politicians shouldn’t take money from or support groups that use mob tactics like this.

President Barack Obama and his administration, is shamefully deeply connected to the people and organizations that recently organized street mob protests, terrifying a teenage child in his own home, and storming bank buildings (violating how many Federal laws?) in a show of uncivil disobedience (intimidation).

Digging a little deeper reveals some additional disturbing connections between President Obama, and other organizers of these mob actions. These connections might be of interest to any reporters who claim the White House as their beat.

Another key organizing force behind the “Showdown in America” is a group called Americans For Financial Reform. This group is headed by former SDS radical and proud Alinsky protege, Heather Tobis Booth.

Heather Tobis Booth is the founder of a group called USAction.

USAction used to be called Citizen Action, until the illegal behavior of  Rep. Jan Shakowsky’s husband, ex-con Bob Creamer (Obama Campaign Organizer), combined with the notorious “Teamstergate” scandal, forced the organization to collapse it’s national brand into a newly named entity. (This collapse and restructuring is the role model for ACORN’s transition today.)

Writing for Fortune.com, Nina Easton relays her first-hand account of the uncivil disobedience and “mob”tactics exhibited by SEIU and the National People’s Action (NPA), as they terrorized a teenage child in his own home.

Baer’s teenage son Jack — alone in the house — locked himself in the bathroom. “When are they going to leave?” Jack pleaded when I called to check on him.

Liberty Chick has covered this SEIU-NPA attack-action here, and Huffington Post wrote a disgusting whitewash of the mob’s behavior:

Passersby and dogwalkers smiled at the sight of people gathered all over Baer’s lawn and blocking the road.

SEIU and NPA also loudly stormed into bank buildings, occupying and shutting down their lobbies.  How much would you like being in one of those bank lobbies during an SEIU-NPA Progressive Democrat hijacking of the property? How is anyone supposed to know that the loud angry mob coming through the front door isn’t there to rob it, or worse yet, burn it down?

Just an aside -  isn’t it against Federal law to purposely shut down the normal operation of Federally insured banking institutions? Or is that sort of thing being encouraged now?

This is all a part of an ongoing campaign which SEIU and NPA have titled “Showdown In America.”

This ad from John McCain has to be one of the worst advertisements in the history of politics:

The stiff, scripted read serves as a perfect analogy to the way politicians like John McCain have failed to do anything to protect America’s sovereignty regarding our borders and immigration laws. Instead, they read meaningless words in a lame and transparent attempt to make us think they are “One of us,” working day and night to solve the problems that vex us all.

What a crock. They are just empty words being recited (poorly) from a script.

Besides, the “danged” fence, as John so condescendingly puts it, is not alone the answer. Ending the drug war and making legal immigration more accessible would cure most of the human smuggling issues currently plaguing this country.

Despite the fact that it is well established that the term ‘Tea-Bagger’ is a sexually offensive slur, officials at Organizing for America, the official Democrat Party group dedicated to organizing the party in ‘10 and ‘12, are using the term “Tea-Bagger’ in their official gatherings.

John Ruberry of Marathon Pundit attended a recent OFA meeting in Evanston, IL and he took copious notes.

As a motivator to the faithful, Gorman suggested, “Fear–Imagine America under Sarah Palin.”

Uh, dude. She’s not on the ballot this year. I thought Gilpin was a class act, albeit a misguided one, until, while not mentioning him by name, she called Illinois GOP gubernatorial nominee Bill Brady, “A teabagger, a really bad guy.”

Hmmmm, explicitly using fear and vilification of American citizens to organize the base of your party. Classy.

President “Tea-Bagger” and now the entire Democrat Party OFA leadership owes the patriotic men, women, and children who protest at Tea Parties an apology.

Just so we understand the ground rules here: 1) calling a Progressive Democrat a Socialist is bad; 2) Calling “Tea Party” protesters “Tea Baggers” is A-OKAY.

We seem to remember when the Left went apoplectic over imaginary suggestions that they were unpatriotic for being “against the war” during the Bush administration. We seem to recall President Obama very recently complaining about being called a Socialist (why do Democrats find Socialist to be such a dirty word? What is it about being a Socialist that they should universally shrink away from the title?).

You couldn’t ask for a more textbook definition of hypocrisy.

It is perversely amusing, though, watching Media Matters defend President “Tea-Bagger” for referring to average Americans, whose only crime is to reject Socialism, with a sexually offensive slur.

For a reminder, here are some shots of some U.S. citizens, who, in the Media Matters universe, should be referred to by the President of the United States as people who take testicles into their mouths.
