Toby began cartooning (political and single panel) in college in 1993, was published after college in a comedy magazine called Funny Stuff, then got serious about political cartooning with all the mayhem of the 2000 election. Recently Toby's cartoons have shown up on FoxNewsWatch, FoxNews.com, MichelleMalkin.com, and "The Foundry" - The blog of the Heritage Foundation.
TobyToons.com was created in 2007 to showcase Toby's artwork (house/auto portraits, Grrrr cartoons for FoxNews.com, and political cartoons).
In 2009, TobyToons began appearing on RedState.com. They also appear on TheMinorityReportBlog.com, Facebook, and Twitter.
Toby graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He is an Engineer by day, Cartoonist by night.

So now it seems the executive branch of our government thinks it rules over the legislative branch. King Obama can now (regardless of what the Constitution says) tell congress that they are officially in recess, so he can appoint the people he wants, without those pesky confirmation votes.

Budget Realities Come Home to Roost

Like the proponents of Ohio’s Issue 2 tried to point out before the November vote, keeping the status quo for Ohio public union salaries, benefits, and pensions was unsustainable.
A yes vote would’ve kept Ohio Senate Bill 5 as law, and tried to reign in the runaway spending and debt being heaped on the state. Unions spent over $50M to defeat Issue 2, as evidenced by the utter proliferation of “No on 2″ signs that sprouted all over the state.
As was warned, the budget realities must now be faced. Cities across the state are running out of money and are now being forced to lay off fire and police employees (e.g. Portsmouth, Lancaster, Middletown). Without SB5, the only options left to the cities are higher taxes or less employees.
The main scare tactic by the “No on 2″ crowd was that fire and police employees were going to lose their jobs and communities were going to be less safe. As it turns out, not ALL of the police and fireman are getting fired (as the dire warning went during the run up to the vote), just the ones on the bottom of the seniority totem pole.

Uncle Joe is at it again. He is, once again, using the tried and true Democrat tactic of trying to scare people into letting the government spend more money. It is time to pass yet another failed stimulus bill, and if you don’t pass it, oh, you don’t even want to know the horrors the country will face.

Only One Card Left In Her Deck

Yes, I know what you are going to say… “Stop giving her attention and she will go away.” The problem though, is that she has proven that she will not go away even when ignored. Why would she, she has “Olby” to give her liberal ideas (a.k.a. name calling) a platform.
With the easy pickings for cartoon ideas that appear every time she opens her mouth, she is just too hard to ignore. As a cartoonist, she (**shiver**) completes me!
I like the idea of keeping her in the spotlight so regular Americans (the Conservative majority of this country) can see what Liberals truly think of us.
