Next Chapter Of The Progressive Marxist Revolution – G8/G20
by Andrew MarcusThis weekend (starting today) looks like it is shaping up to be the next chapter in the ongoing Progressive-Marxist revolution now underway across the globe. Previous chapters of the revolution include, but are not limited to, the 1999 WTO meeting in Seattle, the “anti-war”* protests during the Bush presidency, the 2004 and 2008 protests against the Republican conventions, the Bank of America protests, the Gaza Flotilla movement, etc… *The asterisk marks the discredit earned by the “anti-war” movement through their silence since President Obama took office, despite the continuation of the wars allegedly being protested against.

Here is their description of the event they are holding Saturday night:
GET OFF THE FENCE
Confrontational Anti-Colonial, Anti-Capitalist
Convergence in solidarity with the
People’s First Demonstration
26 June 2010, 1pm, Queen’s Park
And then onwards to the Fence
If you want to understand the art of confrontational anti-capitalism, look no further than this Organizing Manual produced by one of the leading organizers of confrontational street (and flotilla) demonstrations. Pay special attention to the sections entitled, “198 Methods of Nonviolent Action” and “Tools for White Guys who are Working for Social Change and Other People Socialized in a Society Based on Domination”. Below is an excerpt from their section about the intentional tactic of getting arrested.
Stay in jail or not:
In-jail solidarity uses our strength of numbers to raise the political and economic costs of the system. It cost the authorities both economically and politically to keep large numbers of people locked up after an action, especially if we can mobilize outside pressure. Large numbers of people in jail can give us lots of leverage with the system.
But stay-in-jail strategies are very costly to us, as well. In situations where jail conditions are extremely hazardous to the very life and safety of protestors, we want to get people out of jail as quickly as possible and mobilize pressure in other ways. In an extended action, or when the authorities use preemptive arrests to undercut our numbers, we may want to get people back on the street quickly. When legal consequences of an action are likely to be minor, an in-jail strategy may not be worth the cost. And people may also have individual reasons for getting out of jail as fast as they can: family responsibilities, medical conditions that put them at risk in a jail situation, work responsibilities, etc.
Stay-in-jail strategies work best with larger numbers, but they do not require unanimity to work. We want to encourage people to do actions whether or not they can stay in jail afterwards. Solidarity is no longer effective movement building if the costs of an action become so high that only the extremely heroic or the chronically unemployed can do actions. When people feel judged or coerced into solidarity stands, they often react against the whole idea and may be reluctant to do future actions. When people feel supported in their choices, they will often make great personal sacrifices to support the group.
If we’re trying to keep people out on the street for an extended action, or if projected legal consequences are slight, we might want to take opportunities to get quickly released from custody. If we have people to protect: individuals who might be singled out, internationals who face immigration issues, etc., we might employ a strategy that involves staying in jail until everyone is released. Or if we are asked to make unacceptable compromises in order to be released, for example, posting high bail or accepting conditions that might prevent us from doing future actions, we may need to use in-jail solidarity.
A stay-in-jail solidarity strategy needs some coordination before the action, so that people are prepared and know what choices to make under the stressful conditions of arrest.
How to Stay in Jail:
Refuse to sign out:
In mass actions, authorities are often willing to release most people if they sign a promise to appear for a court date, or if they post a reasonable bail.
The authorities may also ask people to sign statements saying they will not return to a certain action or area.
To stay in jail, refuse to sign or to post bail.
Bail is one of the ways the poor are kept incarcerated and people with money get released. Some activists refuse to post bail as part of their moral or political stand. For others, the choice may depend upon the situation.
Refuse to give names:
Authorities are generally reluctant to free prisoners without knowing who we are. For this tactic to be effective, protestors should not carry identification to the action. For this reason, it needs to be coordinated ahead of time. This tactic also greatly interferes with the smooth running of the jail system, and is a tactic generally hated by the authorities. It can be a powerful bargaining point in solidarity negotiations.
However, it’s a bargaining point we most often concede in the end. Protestors should not hold the illusion that they will be able to go through the entire system and be released without giving names. Occasionally this happens, but generally not.
Below is a video clip of the organizers of this weekend’s G8/G20 protests holding a press conference.
Will any of skeptical press that covered this conference dig into who these groups are and who is organizing them?
Here is link to the video that preceded the one embedded above. In it, they state their goal to destroy the G8/G20.
No confirmation if this report is connected to the planned protests, but given the tactics of “direct action” it hardly seems implausible:
June 24 (Reuters) – Canadian police said on Thursday they had pulled over a car containing “dangerous materials” near the site where an international summit will be held in Toronto this weekend.
Toronto police chief Bill Blair told the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. that there had been sticks — possibly ax handles — and gasoline in the car. The driver was arrested.

Those Progressive-Marxist Protesters?
They need to take a shower and get a job.
Personally, they need to thank whatever Gods they pray to that I am not running the show there.
I see these fruitcakes in that video share our same distaste for these knuckleheads from the G8 and G20 getting together. As far as the reasons why, quite the opposite. The worlds gone nuts!
I do not say this in jest.
They are dangerous individuals. They are international terrorists.
They need shot. Not with water cannons or rubber bullets.
They need shot with 180 grain boattail full metal jacketed slugs. Right between their eyes. Open up their craniums and shed some light on the subject.
Typical Leftist bullshit. "We are against violence……unless it suits our needs." Hopefully, the Canadian cops give a few beat downs during the summits. Only the most hardcore libtards would stay in jail on purpose.
There would be nothing in the world that I can think of, that would be more fun than chasing those clowns around the streets and alleys on a good cowhorse, swinging a rope.
It would be quite a sportin' event, and certainly more entertaining than soccer, golf or tennis………….
Cowboy, you're cracking me up. I just spit coffee on the screen…
So they're anti-capitalist. How'd they get those clothes, print those booklets, get to the events? I know, it's CM (commie magic).
Anecdote: Thirty-five or so years ago, a bunch of friends and myself met some people at a concert, they were self acclaimed Dead Heads, they asked us to come to their house for a big party, so we said, WTF. Once we arrived, it turned out to be one the kids parents house, a mansion in an exclusive part of the city. These Dead Head, counter culturist, anti-capitalist, were nothing but little rich kids trying to defy their station as useless spooners. I would reckon that a great majority of these “protesters” are nothing more than spoiled brats, that need a real good ass kicking.
Did you see the cell phone the large woman pulled out and looked at? At least I think she was a woman. Where would she be without capitalists building that handy device for her to use? HYPOCRITE!
Wouldn't it be funny if any of these Marxists actually made sense? So far I like the geography lesson about Arizona's border best.
Keynesian economics is so dead, disproved, as to be laughable.
What I want to know is how is our Keynesian loving dear reader is going to stand up to the UE leaders who are dead, flat, broke and running away. The Europeans have had enough and want to swear off the sauce, while the Obama Administration wants to keep running a bar tab. That's the real snark scene.
Most young ( college age ) kids go to protests to have fun and get laid………..at least that's what I did in the 60's.
Give them a little slack. Toronto is not Athens !!
Be very careful about falling into the trap of adopting an easy bivalent narrative about global capitalists and international marxists. Both narratives can at times provide the ideological veneer of a janus-faced propaganda campaign to accumulate centralized power for elites. For Marxists, the road to communism lay through capitalist development. The key Marxist tactic that has been missed by most has been to develop mechanisms to control capitalism and channel it in their desired (and for us undesired) direction. Central banks manipulating the currency through artificially setting interest rates (for why interest rates are important, see Austrian economists like Hayek, Mises) is one potent example ripped from the pages of The Communist Manifesto; progressive income taxes are another. Internationally, we are now seeing the "universal convergence" of central banks seeking to take their fraudulent operations worldwide. International financier of leftist movements and currency manipulator George Soros is a prominent advocator of "free trade" – of course, channeled through elitist-controlled institutions like the WTO; he is also a fan of the IMF, and the World Bank, which have spotty track records of assisting "underdeveloped" countries, to say the least. In my view, global capitalists are naively playing a dangerous game of chicken with Marxist-statists who are, as Lenin phrased it, "selling them the rope that will be used to hang them." Money is all well and good as long as you have freedom, but it is no defense against bullets and gulags. The Marxists know this, but I'm afraid the capitalists won't engage in rational self-defense against the pure power seekers until it is too late. The socialists will have infiltrated every major government and will be pulling the strings in the new world economic order. And for all intents and purposes, that would be ballgame.

Does anybody know who the Republicans are that are going to cave next week and help pass financial reform?
The answer to protesters not giving their name? Easy. Have a couple of two person cells, way in the back with only one occupant. Bubba. Give up your name or spend an uncomfortable evening with him.
"When people feel supported in their choices, they will often make great personal sacrifices to support the group."
How diabolically clever–here we have the formula for the longevity of the repugnant Liberal Left.
Of course, the ultimate cost of 'feeling the love' by the Left's support of their abhorrent 'choices' demands payment with the 'greatest personal sacrifice' of all: the forfeiture of their souls.
I know I open myself to chastisement because I admit that I have not rolled the video but I have a first impression from the still image: Only the bearded person at the microphone is looking into/at the camera; the rest of this ruthless gang are averting their eyes. Notice the defensive posture of all five individuals.
Conclusion: These people hate themselves; therefore, they oppress themselves. Marxism has evolved to its purest form. It's really stretching it to equate Soviet-style Socialism with Marxism and I don't meant to, but I remember Khrushchev banging his putrid shoe on his vile UN desk right there on TV and screaming like a demon from hell, "We will bury you!" And I still remember all the flag-burning, murdering, perverted players of the 1960's. "Where was Vladimir in November 1963?" will remain as-yet-unanswered.
UPDATE:
I have confirmed without dispute the veracity of my conclusion reached above by watching this impromptu, ad-lib "press conference" given by these elitist guerrilla Marxist ideologues.
No, no, no!
We only have to fear those angry, violent SCARY Tea Party mobs!
Seriously, folks, what really angers me is the facade wherein "peaceful" and "moderate" Lefty groups tut-tut about the violent Bolshies- when in fact they're all in cahoots, playng good cop-bad cop. The violent wing of the 2008 RNC protests was part of the umbrella coordinating committee: it was all one big happy conspiracy. It's like the bullshit games the Palestinians play.
—————-
BTW, the very existence of the "G-20" is an example of the success of Leftist infiltration and subversion. The original G-6 was a conference the world's leading industrial democracies: the US, Britain, Germany, Japan, Italy, France; it became the G-7 when Canada joined. In the 90's we extended a "guest" or observer membership to Boris Yeltsin, back when Russia was more or less democratic.
But the G-20 erases all meaningful point to it, destroying the exclusivity of the Good Guys Club. It just gives "equal status" to hostile regimes like Brazil and Turkey and ugly dictatorships like Saudi Arabia and Mexico. It makes as much sense as extending NATO to include Iran.

Blast them 24/7 with recorded vuvuzela noise (music to some).
I guess no one has told the useless commie idiots that the ISLAMIC SUPREMACISTS could care less about your commie "revolution". Personally,Id think the human race would be much better off if BOTH the commies and Islam were both put out of there misery.
I'm sure all the goods and services that they use, are provided free of charge, from the interest from Daddies trust fund………
Great to hear from you RJ. That’s where we come in, it’s time to “upset the apple cart,” and deny these Marxist pigs their faux utopia. In this country, in the long run, I believe Barry will prove to be a tactical era for the progressives…overreach. The majority electorate is paying close attention, never a place a statist thrives.
The guy that was arrested for having those things in his car is being let go, he was a Local. he had his DOG in the car with him and was headed home, he just didn't know about the G20.
What the hell are you doing? That kind of leftist accusatory bullcrap is what this site is supposed to be against?!
You are absolutely correct.
I have witnessed that myself.
One of these years the police force will open fire and end these types of violent protests.
Dont forget who Janet Incompetano called the "dangers" to America-retired military vets, middle class white Americans and those who oppose illegal immigration and Islamic Supremacists. I guess that must include the citizens of Arizona(her former state) that oppose murderous drug illegals, or the fine folks in NYC who dont want a friggin MOSQUE built on Ground Zero named after the first Islamic conquest in Europe and scheduled to be opened on 9/11/11, 10 yrs after the biggest mass murder of non-combatants in history. Janet Incompetano and her fellow loons need a one way trip to the end of a firinf squad.
I do not know what that is, but I'm betting they could all shuck and jive to it. If I were in charge of terpsicordian activities, I'd really make them dance…………
Yes,Mr. Brown,Ms Collins and Ms. Snowe
Reason-your post is one of the reasons Ive agreed with Glenn Beck was that Woodrow Wilson was our first marxist president. Wilson started the 16th amendment, giving women the right to vote(women overwhelmingly vote demorat) and started the Federal Reserve, which along with the 16th and 17th amendments needs to be abolished.
Tarpon-what about the idiot demorat from Atlanta who thinks Guam will tip over if we send too many Naval personnel there?
On a rare occassion, I get in a non-foul mood.
Not good mind you, but just non-foul. Perhaps I am contrarian at best.
Most people are not aware of this, but there was a magnificent moon last night, and it will be just as good tonight. I sat in the silence and watched it last night and listened to the night sounds. I got up before the sun this morning and walked barefoot in my garden and watched the sun come up. I found my first cucumber of the year, picked it and ate it for breakfast. I have enough growing in my garded for several families, and more than enough beef to eat.
In the final analysis, my life is good. It makes no difference to me who is in the White House. As long as the rains fall and the grass grows and my cattle get fat, life will go on. There are just a few things left, that politicians cannot touch, or screw up.
Now if they come, and want me to share my garden or meat for the good of the collective, that might be another story…………..
Dude, we have a full blown despotic government in DC right now . Our liberties are disappearing daily with this crew.I hope we can wait until November but I am not sure anymore.I say let it burn
This is what you get when you mix skulls full of mush and Marxist college professors. Wasted minds.
The vuvuzela is a primitive horn (now produced in plastic by the millions- in China, of course) blown by a huge amount of soccer fans in South Africa. It makes a very obnoxious sound. So bad, that some networks have started to use filters to tone it down because so many people turn down their tv to watch the matches. I don't care for soccer, but I went to a favorite lunch spot and they had the final moments of the USA win over Algeria on the tv's.
Osama Bin Laden-son of a billionaire. Bill Ayers, son of the president of Consolidated Edison. Susan Wilkerson, another member of the weather underground, daughter of the CEO of WR Grace. Ayman Al Zawahari-medical doctor. The Christmas Day shoe bomer-son of Nigerias wealthiest man. Not one of these scum were raised poor.Niether are any of the ones today. Virtually all Islamic terrorists are either US or western Europe educated(Khalid Shake Mo hAM HEAD-1986 graduate of North Carolina at&t)
Sort of like a Kenyan kazoo?
Cool!
Although it didn't work very well at Kent State.
In my personal opinion, there weren't enough rounds fired that day.
Yes, only worse. Almost as painful as listening to the Kenyan give a speech.
A couple years ago, my wife, and I went to my brother-in-law’s home for Thanksgiving. These folks are quite well off. After dinner we were sitting in the den watching Detroit get beat by somebody, and I had the pleasure of sitting next to my nephew, who was freshly attending one of the most exclusive law schools in the area. So I mistakenly asked, “what field of law?” …his response, “environmental!” I gave that kid a “huh…do what? …look,” he then proceeded to tell me how man is killing the earth, and how he fly’s around the world, attending these protest, fighting the evil capitalist – - like his parents, who were footing the bill…amazing! For me it was instructive.
This is criminal. The intent is clear that the organizer's are promoting subversive activities to undermine the concept of "freedom of speech" and "freedom to protest", and this is substantal proof that they intend on pushing the envelope against authority by formenting a climate of lawlessness, violence, and abusing the rights of others and their property. This is non-legit in a free society and our law enforcement should develop a appropriate response plan to counteract any criminal wrongdoing by these hoolagans.
I bet Sheriff Joe Arpaio could handle this quiet effectively. Tents; lots of them. We'll just see how long these criminal thugs hold out under those conditions. Speaking of which, I love this famous quote from Sheriff Joe Arpaio:
"It's 120 degrees in Iraq and the soldiers are living in tents, have to wear full body armor, and they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your mouths."
The problem at Kent State was that it was the panicked reaction of a gaggle of National Guardsmen commanded by a shavetail. Had it been a disciplined company of Nam vets Kent State would have had a MUCH happier outcome. Especially if they had an attached MG team or two, and perhaps a mortar section.
Well if these College kids go there to laid and have fun. They will most assuredly get their wish if they have their way. Alas the "screwing" they strive for will be long, arduous and painful! Their financial "Colons" will be a bloody mess by the age of Thirty!
4arepublic, not sure if that would work……….their ears are covered with their rectal walls!
Ah yes, so only the Tea Party has a right to protest?
You couldn't be more wrong,
So you have a problem with women voting because it upsets the patriarchist/conservative agenda? You're a dimwit.
But jester is right in just about everything he said. This is not about capitalists versus marxists. They are two sides of the same coin. The goal is one thing and one thing only, power and domination for the elites.
Thanks Larry, that settles that.
I don't reckon the Tea Party is protesting anything in Cana-duh………
I'm no progressive, but hiring isn't exactly strong. How could they get a job?
Now THAT, was funny!
I am failing miserably at trying to understand the motives of these people. As far as I can tell they want to destroy capitalism and replace it with communism/socialism. The question is why and what do they hope to gain from it? Is it a return to the good ol' days of Stalin (how many people died under his fist? ). So they use the fruits of capitalism and freedom, to decry capitalism and freedom? WTF? There is a certain part of me that wants them to succeed but only to ask them a question when they're starving and they see their own children starving, as in N. Korea. Cuba, Venezula, and every other part of the globe its been tried. "So how's that socilaism working out for you? Oh, by all means protest now I'm sure nothing will happen to you."
Stupid should hurt
I wonder, when Sharia law is passed throughout the world, will these doofusses be allowed the right of peaceful assembly, even while advocating violence? Granted, all the "females" in the video would look much better wearing burkas.
This kind of response is what gives them "ammunition." Use some discretion.
Pedro, I'm throwing in the towel,we have lost. Obama and the Dems have finished us off and there IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. Most Americans(?) don't seem to care about thier liberties, I'd say 50% are pure idiots who still support this regime. Each day gets worse, Dodd and Frank, Obama saying we will never again be the economic engine of growth, Military will be non existant in 10 years, Obama "Trusting" Russia and enemies, etc. etc. etc. Laws mean nothing to this regime, he rules by fiat, the Great High Exaulted Mystic Ruler Obama the Destroyer, Liberal, Progressive and anti American to the end (of OUR Lives). I do not see taking back our Country, too much damage has been done and the evil doers are getting away with it.. Sorry to be so negative but we can't trust the Ballot Box anymore, it Gave us Obama.
Awesome, another 2,000 page bill crammed down everyone's throat, with many surprises to surface after it passes.
My friend,
Have you ever heard the Rodney Crowell song "Don't Get Me Started?"
Well, don't get me started. I'll get off on a rant worse than Dennis Miller.
I know exactly what you say. Someone close to me has a yound adult going to one of the most prestigious law schools in the country for guess what? Environmental law.
I know another young fellow who I was casually introduced to, because someone thought it might be a good idea. he is going to school for geology. When he found out I was an oilman, he looked at me like I crawled out from under a rock and was ready to rape and pillage.
As I got to know this young "man" and observed him shuffling around in his Birkenstocks and Che Geuverra tee shirts, I learned he is an avowed Communist.
If it were not for the respect I once had for his Mother, I would slap this little prick so hard, that snot would fly out of his ears. Just as I stand for and represent everything that he resents, he is everything that I despise.
I never thought I would live long enough to see the things I am seeing.
Shhhhhh.
Larry is a genius and legend in his own mind.
Im not sure but I wrote a note to Olympia Snowe
It's a damn shame we rarely receive the correct news from the MSM (including FoxNews) about the growing trend of radical extremism in this country. Of course, I may have missed it but until today I did not know the following:

Sheriff Joe…………..God I love that MAN, …………….was sorry to hear he is retiring.
He's a real life John Wayne!
Let me guess, you're a college professor ! lol. The language put me on the defensive, but after reading your post, I pretty well agree with you. I will post blogs and encourage all I know to participate and VOTE. Forgive me though if at the same time, I continue to stock up on ammo.
He’s probably an environmental lawyer…LOL!
Could have leveled it and built condos.
FOX is going right down the tubes.
Shep Smith needs biatch slapped, and O'Reilly is gone.
"These people hate themselves; therefore, they oppress themselves."
True, but don't all leftists? If I may add, attempting to drag the rest of us along to hell with them also demonstrates that they're as presumptuous as they are self-loathing, to say the least.
I'm curious – can somebody provide some info supporting how Keynesian economics was proven to be not legitimate?
The fat cat bureaucrats would love it if everyone believed that, but all they want is gargantuan wealth while the rest of us perish, enabled by their ignorant puppets who blindly protest the Government's ability to curb their seizure of America.
Coming to the United States?
Romainia raises their VAT Tax to 24% – http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100626/ts_afp/roman...
You call them progressive-marxist revolutionaries. Otherwise known as the base of the modern Democratic party.
Arpaio for President! He's for "We The People" He's not trying to destroy America like the Obamatrons. He's trying to protect and preserve America, and so is Gov. Brewer. Hey isn't that what the Pres. is supposed to be doing?
With all due respect, no.
Discretion, and being beaten into submission is what has gotten US into this mess. The silent majority have been silent far too long. It is time to call a spade a spade, and tell the truth. Stupidity has consequences. I will be silent no longer.
In the words of Barrack Obamas minions and legions, "It is time to put truth to power".
CL, anymore I don't even turn-on my crack box except for three programs, and I'm pretty sure you know which one's those might be. Fox is under immense pressure by the leftists regime and it's new Saudi Sheikh co-opter to tone down. I hate a sell out.
Mike,
Don't throw in the towel yet my friend.
Amen!
Or a pornographer.
I'd vote for him. Gotta love a man with cajones and principals.
Is there a difference?
He does like to lurk around conservative websites, hmmm…
Sheriff Joe… http://usataxpayer.org/htm/test.asp?A=37547874
The Progressives/Marxists aren't going to like the next stage of the revolution…
WHY? Because of Tea Party 101:
* Congressional candidates must be open and honest
* They must speak truthfully
* They must listen to and work for the people
* They must adhere to the Constitution and your oath of office
* They must support smaller government
* They must support lower taxes
I voted Democrat because…
- Working is too hard.
- Thinking is too hard.
- I am pro-choice… Unless you choose life.
- I am 26, sponging off my mom and I want free Health Care.
- Freedom of speech is fine as long as I am not offended by it.
- I want Hollywood celebrities to tell me what to think and say.
- I am horrified by the Gulf Oil Disaster… We need to raise taxes.
- I want government to tax your earnings and give me things I want.
- I want government to give Mexicans free health care at your expense.
- If I knock-up my girlfriend I want government to pay her to kill the baby.
- I am a fruit and I want the courts to force you to accept my deviant behavior.
- We need to raise taxes on business… Gee… Why do things cost so much?
- Obama is giving me money from his stash… That's why I voted for him.

I love the way this man cuts bait. Thanks for the vid.
Well, I could provide links and cites to the many, many, many peer-reviewd studies, starting with Ross (Harvard 1979), but I don't feel like doing your Googling for you. Or, for a proto-realization of the ugly truth, you could look up Morgenthau's congressional testimony.
I will simply dare you to provide a single instance of Keynesian stimulus working as advertised, ever; or point to a single confirmed sighting of the mythical Keynes Multiplier, elusive as the Higgs Boson. If there is a "multiplier" for deficit spending, it's about 0.8.
Keynesianism however, no matter how many times dead and buried, contiues its vampire-like unlife because "the fat cat bureaucrats would love it if everyone believed that, but all they want is gargantuan wealth while the rest of us perish, enabled by their ignorant puppets." Politicians love Keynesian nonsense because it gives them an "economic" excuse for irresponsible spending; and academic Leftists love it because it provides an excuse for all-powerful government.
For those who haven't noticed, or who are thrown off-track by media rhetoric touting "democratic action" I encourage you to read the following : http://spme.net/library/pdf/PurifyingtheWorld.pdf We are witnessing the toddler stage in the development of a new global totalitarianism, and it isn't the totalitarianism of "Empire" or "NWO" that these deluded souls are organizing against. Read the pdf, and then find a copy of "The Coming Insurrection" and read that, also. If they look harmless, unshaven, unkempt, peaceful do not be deceived. These are the apostles of a new (and fatally naive—about human nature, first and foremost) global gnostic religion, and if you are not on-board you are their eternal enemy. A quick glimpse at the history of totalitarian movements wedded to political religion (see Hannah Arendt's Origins of Totalitarianism) reveals what these "peace-niks" have in mind for those of us who favor individual liberty and constitutional republicanism. Beware.
just to clarify, I'm talking about your ending point:
"No confirmation if this report is connected to the planned protests, but given the tactics of “direct action” it hardly seems implausible:

The story about him being innocent and being released is already several days older than this article. You guys bitch and moan about the left manipulating facts and stories and ignoring them as convenient, so tough nuggets if we hold you to a higher standard.
I'm disappointed in you.
Thank you for the reply. I wouldn't want you to do my googling for me. During the Bush terms, the righties never had a problem with the deficit, but now that we have competent people in charge, the deficit is suddenly a lethal tumor. People love to quote Rahm Emanuel; "Never let a serious crisis go to waste," but every thing is viewed by the right as an opportunity to bring down Obama and restore Bushonomics as the law of the land to finish the job of crushing the middle class permanently an turning America into a corporate utopia.
As an antidote, here are some reflections on Reagan's political debut speech back in the early 1960s. Many of his remarks apply directly to the progressive movement and our own situation half a century later, except things have grown so much worse since then.
http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2010/06/026... Good links at the bottom of the article to discussion of "the speech" with Mark Steyn.
Agree or disagree with him, this guy knew exactly what he stood for, and wasn't afraid to stand up and tell everyone in unmistakable terms. His remarks are stark, composed by himself, and 100% consistent with his words and actions since. He was the original anti-Obama. To the extent Gov. Christie, Sen. Bachmann or Gov. Palin resonate with the public, it's for the same reason.
A quote about police restraint that I saw somewhere, "Police restraint is sitting at a stop light in a 2 ton car that you have been trained to drive like a NASCAR driver, a loaded gun that you have trained to use and not using either when some idiot in the crosswalk flipped you off and makes an obscene comment."
-I think I'm running out of restraint.
It's the "Bread& Circus's" crowd hard at work for your money. They "want it all & they want it now" to quote Freddie Mercury! and they don't get the fact that somebody has to pay for it. Mom and Dad footed the bill to get them indoctrinated (What passes or higher education) and now they feel they need to be in charge because we have done such a shitty job of running things.
NEWS FLASH:
1. THE CHOSEN ONE has been running things for 18 months (Hows that hope & change working out for ya?)
2. The latest crisis legislation is getting stuff like "We won't know what the bill does until we pass it" comments from our alleged leadereship! YA TEAM!
3. Lawyers and Union lobbiests are not fixing the Gulf oil spill (CATASTROPHE!)
4. Wasn't Gen Petreaus (BETRAYUS) Pres. Bush's guy? What's up with that?
5. Is GITMO still open?
6. Is trying to stop Illegal imigration something we should be getting input on from the Mexican Gov.?
7. is equal pay for equal work (Legal or not) going to apply to the Mob also and if so will a pimp or bookie be getting paid the same as a Senator or Congressman?
\”During the Bush terms, the righties never had a problem with the deficit\”
Horsehockey.
We \”righties\”, or conservatives (NOT co-extensive with the GOP), were
offended by DeLay's profligacy and Bush's \”compassionate conservative\”
boondoggles. And yet, get some frickin' perspective, dude. The highest
Bush/DeLay deficit was just over $200 billion, in 2002, in the wake of
9/11 etc. It decreased every fiscal year thereafter until Pelosi and the
Dems took Congress- and the deficit ballooned to $400 billion. But THEN
Obama came in and suddenly we're looking at a QUADRUPLED deficit, $1.8
TRILLION. Obama has added more to the national debt in a mere fifteen
months than Bush did in 8 years *including* the Pelosi Congress.
Deficits are *always* bad. They *never* stimulate growth; they inhibit
it. Deficits are *slightly* less bad if they result from tax cuts as
opposed to spending increases- pop quiz: do you know why?
No, just quasi-fascists.
Uh….yeah…..

I'm partial to the 168 grain myself. In .30 cal., they produce the most accurate long range shots. I don't want to "get any on me" if I can help it.
So says the idiot who obviously has never studied Fascism.
In case you didn't notice, there is a DIFFERENCE between 'protesting' and 'running around throwing molotov cocktails and physically attacking police and anybody else.'
I've got a couple of neighbors who are into competitive roping who would love to participate!
Don't fool yourself….probably 25-50% of these nut jobs are actually anarchists. Funny how all the followers of these evil philosophies block together, isn't it? Even though they claim they have totally different objectives, they always end up working together. It's ironic that none of them are willing to see the common thread that binds them…a deep and abiding hatred of all that is right and good in the world.
Yes you are.
