Obama Supporter: ‘What’s Wrong With A Little Bit Of Socialism?’
by Andrew MarcusYesterday, we attended an impromptu Tea Party outside the Evanston, IL office of Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky. Below are some photos and our in-depth video report documenting the event.
Very few people turned out, but that didn’t prevent the scene from turning dramatic as a couple of Obama supporters tossed around accusations of racism, called everyone idiots, and asked the absurd question: “What’s wrong with a little bit of Socialism?”
In the image below, the Black woman (right) and the Jewish woman (left) argue over whose people have suffered more righteously. You can see this exchange in the video embedded above.
We think that all Americans ought to be free to live their lives in whatever manner they may like, and this includes eating and drinking more than what one actually requires to maintain healthy lean body mass. As lovers of Liberty, we celebrate individuality and the diversity of lifestyles that freedom engenders.
Ironically, the people pictured above, who called the Tea Party protesters idiots and asked, “What’s wrong with a little Socialism?” (seen in the video above), will likely face steep taxes and medical scrutiny for the cost-impact their lifestyle choices will have on the very nationalized health care system for which they advocate.

Today should be interesting Tea Partyers and supposedly some Health Care Now 'protesters' are supposed to be there.
They want what the standard of living that only capitalism can offer, but they want it handed to them by the mechanism of redistribution of wealth provided by socialism. They have no idea it can't be supported long term. Or do they?

We shouldn't have national parks. The states are sovereign. The federal govenrment shouldn't take land from the states. The states should be able to decide what land they want to put aside. THEN MOST OF ALASKA WOULD NOT BE CUT OFF FROM DRILLING. The federal govenrment should not own our land

Don't forget, the Tea Party is only a year old and it truly is a grass roots movement. Some areas will be better organized than others. It seems that many black people are quick to do just what this woman did yet their actions, especially their voting record, leads them right back to being enslaved. I guess they reason that it will be OK if white people and people of other color are enslaved right along with them.

I am no health nut I am probably 15lbs over weight but I get out side and walk 5 miles 3 days a week and do my best to eat fruit and veggies and I limit meat. I have awesome healthcare coverage but I don't like to go to the doctor, it's a pain and wastes time, I'd rather take care of my health and never see the doctor. It's not rocket science if you are overweight, get no exercise and eat crap you are going to have health issues. I thought they taught this in a class called "health"? What I don't like is that they are going to tax pizza 18% because of morons like that person.

It angers me that this woman is ignorant of her own people's history. Her ancestors who where slaves would be appalled to know that their descendants are trading the shackles of a plantation master for the shackles of the federal government. The dreams they had were the same dreams all Americans have- the rights and abilities to work and be financially rewarded in a free market system to better themselves and their families. Yes, these citizens had racism and prejudice to to overcome but they would never have traded one master for another. The most successful and accomplished Black Americans in our history achieved their success and place in history by self accomplishment not government dependency. One only has to look a the current state of Detroit to see what America will become with social justice and wealth redistribution.
Is our current health care system perfect? N0, but is far better than what the Obama administration and Congress want to ram down our throats. The poor can currently get health care and that is the " BIG LIE" that they can't. Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIPS are programs to help children, the elderly and the poor. We need to fix and improve these programs not throw out everything that's great about our current system. Tort reform, allowing insurance to be purchased nationally, vouchers for the under-insured would eliminate pre-existing condition clauses and allow more people to have insurance they choose unlike the monstrosity that is being deemed upon us.
The whole process has become so ugly and dirty. The arrogance and disrespect in Washington is beyond maddening. Remember, if they do not hear our voices NOW, lets make sure they do in November 2010 and 2012. If the vote yes- let's vote NO to them and DEEM them UNEMPLOYED!

I am certain the the new gov't run health care will REQUIRE that both of them loose weight in order to receive the health care that they will need. Don't they know that the gov't will decide who gets health care and how much health care they get depending on if they are worth saving or not? the degree to which you will be worth saving will be the degree to which you are contributing to society and I really doubt that these two overweight people are contributing to society in a meaningful way.

If I recall my history correctly (and not the liberal crap that is taught today), MORE people where murdered during the Holocaust because of their ethnicity than where ever murdered during the years of slavery in America.Slavery has been an evil that has been around since the dawn of time. EVERY race has been enslaved from one time to another. Governments, nations,and individuals has enslaved others for various reasons. But, the underlying reason is an unbalance of power. One group has more power than another. That is why THE CONSTITUTION is such a wonderful and powerful document. Our founding fathers where aware that the people of this nation would only be able to ensure their hard fought freedom by having a government that had limited powers. That is why the three branches of government where established and formed to have separate but equal powers. $1,400 for her medical stuff . Boo freakin hoo! I just had a major procedure done, not covered by my insurance, but I needed it done. It cost me $3,200 in total. And guess what–I got a payment arrangment–with my doctor and the hopsital. So, STFU and cry somewhere else. I'm NOT paying for YOUR healthcare. Lose some weight and get healthy while your at it and maybe you'll see your medical bills drop. Don't cry to us. And if you think the gov't will pay, you can bet your fat a$$, it won't.
I think those Americans who are not opposed to 'a little socialism' should have their fill of it. For this reason, we should collectively pay for the relocation of them and their families to a socialist state–of course, they will forfeit their US citizenship.
Leaving the United States shouldn't pain them since having their teeth caps, car notes and mortgages paid is far more important to them than Liberty.

You and me too. Worked for $1/hr before taxes. Supported myself entirely, including healthcare. Lived on my own, in my own apartment and was brought up to not ask for a handout! Got a loan, went to school and then got a better job. I went hungry from time to time, but never asked for a handout. People today have no pride and think they are OWED for breathing. Get a job and work!
What's wrong with socialism, you ask?
Easy: It's NOT conducive with our Founding documents, or our overall way of life. Will these twits understand the Constitution — in several instances — does NOT allow for confiscation of private property. THEREFORE, you can't possibly redistribute it.

The funniest part of the whole race ramble was she kept saying her ancestors worked on plantations (presumably as slaves) and they paid taxes. Total BS. Slaves paid no taxes…they were property. If they paid taxes, that means they were free men (and probably land-owners). She showed herself to be incredibly stupid or deceitful …or both. My guess is…both!
I'm sick of the whole slavery debate. All we did was buy them. They should be pissed at the black people who sold them to us! THAT'S RIGHT! Be pissed at YOUR OWN RACE! They are the ones who sold you to the whites because they couldn't put up with your trifling asses either. We ended up with the worst your race had to offer and we paid for the privilege.
