Andrew, you are 100% right when you say that the American people got complacent, and just let the idiots in Washington 'take care of us' not realizing, that they no longer had our best interest at heart! I have a bone to pick with Andrew. Last night as a guest on Red Eye, when talking about people changing their opinions about Obama, he said(paraphrased), "The ones who won't change their minds are the baby boomers, who are all about entitlement…".
A lot of the people in the Tea Party movement as well as on this site are of the "baby boomer" generation. And most of us are fighting the "entitlement" mentality prevalent in the country today.
That said, I'm a great fan of Mr. Breitbart and all he is doing to help us take back this country and expose the progressives for who they are.
Best speech in the past 20 years. Carpe diem Andrew!

Politicians of either party really understands what is happening in American!
For years we have watched our jobs being outsourced & in-sourced, aided and abide by the ruling Political elite!
On the low end Politicians have allowed the largest invasion of any Nation, at any time, by any means, as millions of Uneducated, Illegal Aliens pour across our borders in direct volition of our Constitution Article IV Section IV against invasion, the Rule of Law & their Oath of office.
The Democrat support the massive invasion because a large Uneducated, Prolific breeding, dependent welfare class translates into Democrat votes!
The Republicans because their paymaster in the Chamber of Commerce & Business love slave labor with the benefits like Medical, Schooling, Welfare & Incarceration, Section 8 housing etc. are passed on to the tax payers!
On the high end H1b program to take the engineering, software jobs etc. at low wages to increase business profits & the insane salaries & bonuses of the CEO,s & their cronies etc.
After years of seeing their jobs disappear & standard of living deteriorate people are frustrated & angry that no one in Washington really cares about middle class tax paying , law abiding Americans or the future of this Nation!
Obama promised Hope & Change so the voters kicked out a Elitist, Arrogant, Spendthrift Republican party that was wading in the swamp of corruption!

I believe his reference to boomers stems from that generation also being the ones that became infatuated with marxism, social justice, et.al. while attending college, living thru the 60s, et.al. Remember, like many of us, Andrew (I believe) is also a boomer who has grown up.

Please, anybody who believes in the Tea Party movement, share this speech with all of your friends. They may have seen the Sarah Palin speech, but probably missed this one. You had to be there to fully appreciate it. The convention in Nashville was even better than expected. We've got a lot of work ahead of us in the primaries and to prepare for the general election. The time to win this fight through effective outreach among disillusioned voters and strong support of better candidates is now – not at the end of October.

I was there and am still walking on a cloud! I don't remember sitting down at all during this speach, but I do recall screaming "Andrew Breitbart for PRESIDENT!!!" All of the speakers at this convention were great, but you sealed the deal for me. You are a true leader with a patriot's heart, not to mention a very kind man without a hint of arrogance. I believe American can survive and thrive with a more equitable distribution of profit. My labor is worth something. My country's land and water and air are worth something to me and more importantly, to our children. And the Monarchists should have to pay a fair price for it. Even though I have an excellent paying job, land & house, education, and no debt, I know they can take any of it away easily.
Read research on how money creates power and power reduces ethics & empathy, and the widening gap between rich and poor leads to eventual social breakdown and anarchy.
