You might know that the Senator was having an extra-marital affair with a subordinate on his staff.
You might know that Senator Baucus recommended his girlfriend for a sweet job, and gave her massive pay raises.
Washington (CNN) – Montana Sen. Max Baucus gave an employee with whom he later became romantically involved a raise of nearly $14,000 and recommended her for a U.S. attorney position, his spokesman confirmed Friday.
But you probably don’t know that when the Senator began engaging a divorce lawyer, months before discussing the matter with his wife, it was his staffer-girlfriend who facilitated the meetings!

We Montanans detest the worthless POS. It is the friggen liberal fascist militants; the tree humpers who have invaded US from Kalifornia, and settled on the western slopes who elect the obnoxious sumbitch. The rural folks, who know him, all have the same opinion: he should be stump broke.

I really could care less that Baucus is a pig. I am more concerned about his role in the Healthcare debacle & the fact that he is using his political clout to get his girlfriend a sweetheart job & a raise. This is what happens to men in power. They begin to believe that the normal rules of life we have to live by somehow don't apply to them. Sex scandals have been in the political scene for a long time. The corruption is the real heart of the matter.
One article in the local paper The Missoulian about this. They had all the details but the university football team has taken over the front page since they are going to the NC game. Maybe the paper will get back to the news next week.

This should be a warning to other states…the progressive pigs from Californicate and other like-minded states are bailing from their screwed up home states into the more conservative states and taking over. They're buying up large chunks of land, building over the top mansions, getting involved in local politics, thus changing the face of these states.
I've traveled frequently to Kalispell, Whitefish and Missoula over the years and am devastated by the change in these once beautiful, charming cities, filled now with the progressive elites, artsy-fartsy hipppie types, and big money. Property values have skyrocketed to such a degree that it's impossible for the regular folks to own much of anything.
