Copenhagen Is The ‘Social Justice’ Moment

It turns out that’s just the sweet sugary frosting on top of the social justice pie.
For a glimpse into the social(ist) justice ideology motivating the Progressive Global Warming Climate Change movement, take a look at the video below, produced by a community organization called smartMeme.
The video promotes turning Copenhagen into a moment for “ecological justice.” Some highlights include:
(:40) – Speaker: Jihan Gearon, “Water comes from somewhere. Your lights come from somewhere. Your shoes and clothes and stuff come from somewhere. We’re from a community where those things are taken.”
(1:10) – Graphic: “In July 2009, smartMeme convened leaders who are connecting climate change to social justice to strategize on framing the ‘Copenhagen moment’”
(1:16) – Unidentified speaker, “But then in Bali, that was where the climate justice theme really kind of exploded at the United Nations Climate conventions.”
(2:42) – Unidentified speaker, “Yes climate change is a global issue, but there are communities both in the ‘Global South’ and the ‘Global North’ that are disproportionately impacted by this issue.”
The green mask just keeps on peeling away, and it’s looking awfully red under there.

Everyone involved with this scam, including everyone in the IPCC, to fleece taxpayers around the world for this fraud of "anthropogenic global warming" should face criminal charges. This is no different than someone illegally defrauding investors with falsified data.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the power to sign this treaty solely in the hands of the POTUS?
If so, doesn't that mean that he can agree to whatever terms (on our behalf) are in the treaty and sign us up for anything that's in it, Constitutional or not?
If that's true, this seems very wrong to me.
Obviously, treaties are supposed to bring peace where there is conflict, but it would only take so long before someone found a way to abuse them.
And BTW, who holds us accountable to the terms of this treaty? Once the POTUS signs it, does it become US law, or are we somehow subject to enforcement by the UN or the coalition of nations that also signed it?
In feel like this is infinitely bigger than healthcare or taxes. If the President can single-handedly sign us up for something that requires no public debate, review, or opportunity for ammendments, we're in big trouble.

It has to be ratified by Congrss before it becomes laws. For example, what happened with the Kyoto Treaty was that the Pres signed it, but it was never ratified by Congress so it just sat there as something symbolic.

These people are not stupid, they are insidious. We need to turn the tactics back on them by re-framing just like the example above, especially the last sentence.
We need to do battle and use Alinsky tactics against them to turn the tables.
Most of all, we need to exercise patience for the resistance to work. I believe our "community organizing" is swelling of it's own accord as people wake up and see the ruse that has been foisted on them.
The truth is making itself known by all the corruption that is being exposed. This fact should encourage those of us who knew,by the facts and instinctively, that Obama, Acorn, Van Jones, Al Gore, Global Warming, and you can add to this list your own "knowings", are in fact ALL frauds.

For those who have missed “Climategate,” I would like to summarize a few of the facts:
1) Recently obtained e-mails have revealed that some of the foremost scientists who are spreading the hysteria have manipulated data, suppressed dissenting views, undermined the peer review process and destroyed documents requested under the “Freedom of Information” laws.
2) Claims of carbon-driven global warming are unproven and contested by 31,000 scientists who believe that there is no serious problem.
3) Research from MIT and the University of Alabama has clearly dispelled the global warming theory. Furthermore, the UN agency IPCC promoting the alarm, states in their own report that the values assumed in their models for “climate sensitivity,” one of the most important factors “have not been developed” (tested or confirmed).

4) Global temperatures have not risen for the past 10 to 15 years and have actually dropped for the past four years.
5) The House of Representative’s Cap and Trade bill which is supposed to solve this “problem,” will impose an energy tax on all goods and services produced in the U.S., cause energy prices (in Obama’s own words) “to necessarily skyrocket,” cost taxpayers over $1 trillion per year, result in millions of additional job loses, inflict economic damage on the poor and middle classes and result in an additional $7 trillion loss in GDP to an economy that is already in a recession.
6) Even if one accepted the claims of the alarmists, and cap and trade worked as they hope, global surface temperatures will be only one-tenth-of-one-degree cooler than currently projected after 100 years.
PART 3 – Flashpoint: Congress should cease all climate change legislation
Based on this bogus alarm and the “solution,” President Obama is attending a UN Climate summit where he will probably endorse a treaty that intends to establish an un-democratic world government which would threaten our national sovereignty. Draconian limits on our energy consumption and a requirement to fund the activities of underdeveloped countries would be imposed.
7) Cap and trade schemes would benefit a select group of wealthy individuals (Al Gore’s wealth has grown from less than $2 million to over $100 million since he ran for president) on the backs of hard working Americans who will see absolutely no benefit even after paying for it for 100 years.
Everyone who wishes to stop this madness should call their representatives in Washington and demand that Congress immediately cease all climate change legislation, and instead conduct a formal investigation into this fraud. Furthermore, we must demand that President Obama withdraw from the UN treaty summit and not sign any form of agreement.
