Note to the Commander in Chief: Make a Decision–Boots on the Ground Report
by Brigadier General (R) Anthony J. TataAs the president wraps up his swing across all of the talk shows and collects his Nobel Peace Prize, one gets the sense that we are rapidly approaching a defining moment in the Obama presidency. 9-11 was thrust upon President Bush just nine months into his administration, and President Obama now faces an unwelcome, but completely predictable, dilemma in his first year. The key issue of course is whether the President should resource the McChrsytal strategy or does he listen to his base and deny his general on the ground the troops he believes are needed to win?

When Obama came into office there were 35,000 troops in Afghanistan. Soon there will be 68,000, meaning Obama ordered 33,000 of them into combat. Just 3,000 more and Obama owns the balance.
Even if he doesn’t send the additional 40,000 troops General McChrystal asked for, there’s no doubt that this is his war now. The president may be looking at this the way a relief pitcher views the situation coming into an inning with runners on base. What counts against him and what doesn’t? But as commander in chief, he has to unhinge himself from such personal considerations. He must take off his political hat and listen to the sound advice of his military commanders and the Secretary of Defense.
On that note, as someone who spent a great deal of time on the battlefield and in the homes of many Afghan citizens, as well as some time in the Pentagon, here’s what I would recommend the President do:
1. Do what you said you were going to do. During the campaign you passionately spoke about how the Bush administration took their eye off the ball and did not properly resource the Afghanistan fight. You made a commitment at that time, and later, to resource this war. There is a huge difference between voting (or not) as a back bench, behind the scenes senator and now being the leader of the free world, who must make actual decisions with consequences and accountability linked directly to those decisions. Leadership is a tough business and this may indeed fall into the category of, “be careful what you wish for.” But it is yours, so bow up and press ahead. No matter how hard the impulse, this is a vote from which you cannot abstain.
2. Support your commander. Don’t let General McChrystal’s reputation flap in the wind. This is a man who has fought house to house and delivered significant victories for our nation. Stan McChrystal is the preeminent counter-terrorism expert in the world. Tell your bureaucrat op-ed buddies to back off and quit maligning an American hero. The Taliban and Al Qaeda are watching how you treat your hand picked general leading our troops. Street cred in this part of the world matters hugely. Use your pulpit to back up a commander who needs your support and understand that a commanding general’s first responsibility is to his troops and his country, not to an individual. Realize that McChrystal lives by the Army Creed: Always Place the Mission First, Never Accept Defeant, Never Quit, Never Leave a Fallen Comrade. Not bad guidelines for a commander in chief, either.
3. Resource the McChrystal strategy. General Stan McChrystal is arguably the best warfighter our country has seen since Patton rolled across Europe. I’ve read his plan and it is thorough and meshes with my experience on the ground in Afghanistan. Don’t let politics enter your decision-making. This is the security of the free world we’re talking about. It’s just a bit more important than the Olympics coming to Chicago.
4. Meanwhile…Develop a Grand Strategy. Grand Strategy is a lost art and it means to apply all the elements of national power against a problem set that threatens a vital interest. These wars are being conducted largely on the backs of military men and women with minimal levels of effort from the other departments of the government. Get agriculture, commerce, and treasury significantly involved right away while you simultaneously demand a broad plan for Afghanistan that accounts for strategic interests in Pakistan, Iran, and India first, then the other ‘Stans’ to the north second.
5. Quit wasting time on NATO. NATO is a political organization and the member nations, save a few, will never produce the force necessary commensurate with either our desires or their responsibilities. They are largely irrelevant on the ground in Afghanistan as well. The German military, for example, is minimally useful in the northern provinces. Put enough effort into this to keep what they’ve got there, but nothing more.
6. Put Boots on the Ground in Pakistan. The Pakistan leadership snowed the Bush administration and they will try to snow yours. They are ineffective in the Waziristan, Northwest Frontier, and Baluchistan regions, where Al Qaeda and Taliban hide out and conduct all necessary state functions to wage war. The enemy recruits, mans, trains, equips, deploys and sustains their forces from Pakistan. We need to use special forces on the ground to guide our precision strikes and wreak havoc in these areas to disrupt the sanctuary for the same reason we bombed Dresden in World War II. Without this component, it will be impossible to win in Afghanistan.
7. Price out the Poppy. Right now we have approximately 100,000 NATO troops on the ground in Afghanistan and they don’t eat a single Afghan crop in any of their meals. 300,000 square meals a day could drive a significant portion of this agrarian economy from subsistence farming back to some commercial agriculture and, if done correctly, could yield greater return per bushel than poppy. This is ‘low hanging fruit’, so to speak, and when we tried to initiate the effort during my time there, we had to fight the bureaucracy to get it started. Medical personnel were risk averse, claiming that Afghan crops would be unsafe. This proclamation came about the time of the great spinach scare in our own country. Get your Department of Agriculture to begin to think and act innovatively and support the effort.
8. Be strong and be patient. Because of years of being under-resourced, this war will take considerable effort to get onto the right track. With that considerable effort, great Americans will go forth at your order and put their lives on the line. Many will be killed and wounded as we seek to secure this vital interest.
The courses of action in Afghanistan are simple. We either support the McChrystal strategy or we say it’s not worth it. There is no half measure here. To pretend that the Biden approach is a single course of action and mutually exclusive from the McChrystal approach is ludicrous. In addition to doing everything we see General McChrystal proposing we have to also keep pressure on Pakistan. They are complementary pieces of an overarching strategy. To present them as uniquely different courses of action is disingenuous.
The simple fact is that this is a war we must win. We’ve got exactly the right man on the ground to lead the effort.
All we need now is a decision.

Fantastic piece! It is frustrating that the title of Commander in Chief is so overshadowed by the civic agendas of this President. Like it or not, the Presidency entails being responsible and leading our military.
The General concludes with:
"The courses of action in Afghanistan are simple. We either support the McChrystal strategy or we say it’s not worth it. There is no half measure here. To pretend that the Biden approach is a single course of action and mutually exclusive from the McChrystal approach is ludicrous. We should learn from our mistakes in history. We let the backbench politicians micro-manage the war in Vietnam and in the process slogged through a multi-year quagmire. It is time to turn General McChrystal loose, and let him do his job. Let the politicians manage the Census and the ACORN/Charlie Rangle scandals……….
Excellent. Thorough and concise. Let's pray Obama reads this. And acts!
General, first let me say thank you for your service. You are a credit to the military and to our country. But you, like most sane people, don't get it. Mr. Obama doesn't care about the military or American victory in Afghanistan. He cares about himself and the things that make him look good. To me it is completely incomprehensible that anyone, but especially the President of the United States could want anything in Afghanistan other than the complete destruction of the Taliban, but he puts politics above EVERYTHING including the lives of brave men and women and nothing is ever going to change that. Ever.
Zippy will do what is best for Zippy and to hell with anyone else. He has been that way all his miserable , me me me life and will be that way as long as he lives.
Prick.
The Jerk in Chief is too busy being a homophile
Zippy will do what is best for Zippy and to hell with anyone else. He has been that way all his miserable , me me me life and will be that way as long as he lives.
Mr President…
Time for actions NOT more words….. Acta Non Verba!
PLEASE LIVE UP TO AT LEAST ONE OF YOUR CAMPAIGN PROMISES — to be aggressive in Afghanistan, successfully accomplish the goals of the mission through listening to the commanders on the ground, and then honorably bring our troops home.
Speaking of war, Iran better take a deep breath.
The US and Israel start joint military exercises tomorrow morning.
Israel will take out Iran by Christmas.
General, your piece is chock full of common sense and wisdom. That means Obama's base will diss it. If he caves into them instead of showing backbone and ignores your voice of experience and General McChrystal's recommendations from first-hand experience, then we will almost certainly have spent our youths' blood and nation's treasure in vain. Note to Prez: This is not Chicago ward politics nor is it a "teaching moment." The lives of our best young men and women hang in the balance. Stop being a politician for a few moments and live up to your Consititutional oath. It's the least you can do for our young people on the ground over there who are living up to theirs.
I notice that Johnson did the same, fight a containment war in Vietnam while he pushed his great society crap on Americans. Then Americans pushed him out of office.
In short: narcissistic leadership is about theatre, not about life.
The narcissistic leader prefers the sparkle and glamour of well-orchestrated
illusions to the tedium and method of real accomplishments. His reign is all
smoke and mirrors, devoid of substances, consisting of mere appearances and mass
delusions.
Obama is a sociopath narcissist and cares naught but for his own applause.

Brigadier General Tata:
Thank you for this well-written piece, delivered in a way that even us non-military types can understand. Thank you also for your service. It means everything that American military personnel will go and do what we at home cannot, while sacrificing so much. It is heartbreaking to see these fine people wounded or killed.
ThuggObama, however, won't take your advice. He's playing to the lunatic fringe of his party, while desperately pretending for the rest of us. It's obvious where his heart lies. He has no intention of pursuing strategies or tactics that would actually be in America's interests. ThuggObama's interests are inimical to America's. Sad, yet true.
I just had to search online to get reminded of the "Biden approach" (and look where I found those details). Pull back the troops and send in the drones? Nice to see the VP is a fan of science fiction movies.
This is not an inheirited issue. It is an American issue.
There can be no honor in inaction.
He has ignored our soldiers for too long. Any deaths resulting from his wavering and pandering are squarely upon his shoulders.
Any lives lost due to his ego will be murder.
Mr. President…either give the military what they need to win…or get them the hell out of there! Damn, this indecision is costing lives by the dozen. Get over the Nobel Prize and make a decision…NOW!
Our soldiers know that Obama is a sick joke of a man.
Obama is a loveless man devoid of conscience. He cares for no one, and I mean absolutely no one!

He MUST be taken out.

And I look forward to the day when our soldiers finally walk Obama off in hand-cuffs.

He MUST be taken out. He is not human.

We greatly need the help of the Pakistaniis. Remember, if they are taken over, the enemy may have access to the Pakistani Nuclear resources. If Osama bin Laden is still living, our troops may have the opportunity to capture him.
Check out one of the mid-east battles in Ezekiel Ch 38 and Ch 39…Israel wins this one. Remember although, that the nations mentioned in those passages are really People-Groups. Babylon, is going to sink or fall into the Euphrates River….never again to return. It's named "sanctuary of devils" in the scriptures. (Jer Ch 51).. You see this can happen as Babylon has large pools of oil, app. 30 Meters down below it. Israel launches Penetration Missiles which would detonate the oil that is under the city….The oil gets ignited. and the city starts sinking as the oil is burned up. Thus, fulfilling another Bible Prophecy.
Even tho' they win the battle, there will still be a mid-east problem….which continues until the very last war.
"Don't ask, don't tell" is given priority over a "War of necessity"?
And even that is hardly given much thought as the administration is focused on health care.
Barry is a serial campaigner, sticking to the one thing he devotes all his energy to accomplishing. He does not multi-task well, if at all.
If you DO get the FLU shot and something DOES happen, YOU CANT SUE

Prez Jerk needs to stop eatin Barney Frankfurter and man up, i think the prez is illigitimate because Acorn voter fraud could have put him in office. In my opinion this country has more conservatives than liberals so I am very suspicious. You have to think about the mindset to engage in voter fraud, the liberals felt it was justified because of their ignorant opinion that Bush "stole" the election. I hope Breitbart finds a smoking gun and we can impeach our loser president!
Sorry, Soros is busy plotting to invest $1 billion in "green tech," which should pay of handsomely once his minions have passed Cap and Trade. And Michelle is busy deciding on another fashion statement to wear at the Nobel Prize ceremony. So there goes his two usual decision makers.
Maybe he can ask for advice from Carter…

Amen to THAT!!
He's a serial liar. It goes with the territory of NPD.
Don't ask, don't tell?
I hear they had the million homo march in DC this weekend. I wonder, was Barney Franks the Maitre d', or was he the Master of Ceremonies………?
General Tata
You are a great American, and you make us very proud. Your leadership and service is a shinning example of what Americans can become. In uniform you served us well and now that you have retired you still choose to serve those in uniform. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!

With all due respect, I am not a McCain fan. He also is part of the problem. There should be a law here: if you run for President, you resign your Senate seat. if you loose your bid, you are SOL. No going bak to the Senate to continue your flawed strategies. Dole did it when he rean against the slickster, and he did the honorable thing when he lost: he exited stage left.
One other law they should have: when you leave the Presidency, you keep your mouth shut. That would eliminate the Carters, the Clintons, and yes, even the Bush family from second guessing the sitting President. Thus far, George Bush has been honoarble in that respect.

He called it "a waste of time at best." Says they would be better off lobbying the government by calling or writing their Congress Critters. You know, stuff that isn't loud enough to make the nightly news that they can ignore.
He says they should follow the example of successful organizations like AARP and the NRA. While I am amazingly pleased to see even Barney acknowledge the clout of the NRA, perhaps someone should point out that the NRA success is in getting the most pro-2nd Amendment candidates voted in and the worst offenders voted out.
And Barney has now shown those "just like him" that he is not like them. 2010 is looking interesting in Massachusetts as well…
Very Good! I remember Johnson's "GUNS & BUTTER" while forbiding the Military from Winning the war. Our Soldiers win the battles, Our Politicians Lose the wars. AHHH…The days of FDR; Nothing but "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER" from Germany & Japan. He won by letting the Generals fight the war.
Barney Franks is making what appears to be a "Seminal about face", and is "advancing to the rear", pardon the several puns………..
Great post! Stop worrying about your pole numbers Mr. President, and do the right thing! Get General McChrystal the soldiers he needs, now! Your political future doesn't count compared to the brave men and woman who are fighting for America overseas! Just this once, act like a Comander In Chief and do the right thing.
With all due respect, and a small smirk, ID was acting up and my first post didn't show on the reload so I had to make a second "pop up" post.
Sure McCain has problems, no debate there. However the election was about arguing against his experience, on both sides. And while it is one thing for the brainwashed to have voted for Barry, I hold extra contempt for those who protest-voted against McCain, largely based on his being an experienced DC policy wonk. Now that we are surveying the resulting wreckage of what was done so far, with more expected, I hope those voters realize the depth of that mistake. Hey, I voted for Perot in 1992 and have to live with that, but I was young and making my own money and he was preaching sound fiscal policy. What great reasons did the Obama protest-voters have?
Oh, let me get that one thing straight. You are arguing for the selective denial of 1st Amendment rights to a certain small group of private citizens?
Perhaps "law" was a poor choice of words. I stand on the fact these schmucks should adhere to some sort of sense of honorable decorum. Would exiling them to the Isle St. Helena be out of the question?
Besides the chronic often non-relevant spamming, first with mycityblog.net, then mywhitehouse.org, and now with myfreepress.net (nice touch going with the anonymous WHOIS registration this time)…
The government bought the H1N1 shots, therefore they are technically freebies, and it is very hard to sue for damages for something you get for free. Therefore this just forestalls a swarm of trial lawyer suits that will likely be dismissed anyway as the plaintiffs will have no standing.
Good work, I think everyone here knows the URLs I have used.
I will let you take the vaccine and wait to see what happens.
Dresden is a very poor example. It was firebombed by the RAF because they could. It had no military value to the collapsing Reich. The general would be better served with examples like Schweinfurt where destruction of a ball bearing factory caused severe problems to the Nazi war production. That said I do not believe that overtly violating Pakistani sovereignty will achieve anything other than to irritate and alienate the already unreliable Pakistanis. Continuing and refining the current policy of denied drone attacks brings the fight to the Taliban's home front without creating extra baggage at home or abroad.
Gonna be a long wait, pal, as I ain't taking it. That flu is making the rounds in PA right now anyway, and it takes 2 weeks for the immunity to take ahold, with about a 70% success rate. Since I have a good deal of earned immunity to flu in general by not getting the flu shot in the past, I will take my chances.
I have never taken a flu shot in my life, and I eat dirt on a daily basis
Just kidding I don't eat dirt. But I don't go to the doctor and take only the occasional headache medicine. Other then the occasional headache once every 3 months or so, I feel great, and see no reason to inject a LIVE flu into my body. I haven't had the flu since I was a child, and don't plan on getting infected with some crazy man made flu.
Obama is not a Man of Action! Maybe he should organize the Taliban lst. The boTTom L:ine goal, to me, is simple. Destroy the resources of the terrorists, so that they don't have available funds to set up more "cells" in our country. Their opium business ought not to exist, if drug users stop doing drugs….These opium businesses started a long time ago, when Britain was trading Opium for Tea from China.
This situation, to me is far worse than Viet Nam due to Obama's indecision….He had plans during his Pres Campaign and now he doesn't! WHAT?
He's really probably fighting his situational, past relationship(s) with the ACORN Groups, and that's what's on his plate, right now…as obama does't want to get busted. ACORN has something on Pres obama, and he has something on them…(and nobody likes a snitch in their groups, acdg to Chicago Street Law)).
Staying informed and takeing action for us is more important than watching our various football games.
Much love and appreciation to you and those you love General Tata!

Heres an idea- send 40,000 queers immediatly to the frontline in Afghanistan.
I can hear the O man from here, "You mean I can't vote "Present" on this one? You promised me I wouldn't have to make any definitive decisions that I could be held accountable for. Andy, you PROMISED me SEIU would handle all the decisions for me. "
I can see the headlines now, "Unions To Run the Military". SEIU's payback for thinking for the O man.
Fox News Reports that even Code Pink supports more troops. I also report that.
http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/2009/10/epiph...
The General writes:
"On that note, as someone who spent a great deal of time on the battlefield and in the homes of many Afghan citizens, as well as some time in the Pentagon…"
"The simple fact is that this is a war we must win. We’ve got exactly the right man on the ground to lead the effort."
"All we need now is a decision."
One cannot argue with experience. It is time for someone to ring the White House; wake Barry up and tell him to have SOMEONE make the decision for him.
Me eithor (never had a flu shot never will) my brother works in the medical field. A persons immune system needs to fight off a virus once in awhile. People who didnt get a flu shot last year are 50 percent less likely to catch this one. Also 33,000 people die of the flu in the U.S. every year. H1N1 is a distraction nothing more nothing less.
Obama cares more about being a jetsetting playboy than he does our troops. And in my personal opinion, I really dont think he cares much for the military.
For that reason alone, he should be impeached.
God bless our troops!!!!
I spent 2 years in the middle east serving our country. Our troops come first or should anyway. Obama is a joke of a leader. All his lies are starting to build up and I think he doesn't know what to do or were to turn. The sad thing is if we wanted to take real war to any small country it would be over in days. But instead our leaders put our troops at risk (with police action crap). If this continues I forsee the draft coming back. Remember for every man in action there has to be 10 behind him do the math were at that limit right know.
Morale is getting low, the troops do not know why they are still there. The American public does not know either.
Long ago, this was a smackdown of the Taliban for shielding bin Laden. That was done. Then it became nation building. Eh, close enough, they have a "starter" democracy and can work from there.
But now the fight is focused on fighting centuries-old ingrained fundamentalist Muslim thought that made the Taliban a welcomed uniter. What we perceive as corruption is their ancient system of tribal leadership and deal-making, as even their terrain keeps them broken up into autonomous units. To "win" we have to bring the entire country into "modern" thought, make such fundamentalism no longer palatable, and give them a modern economy that does not need poppies and the drug trade for their people to survive and prosper. Which is more than we can afford to do, if we could do it at all.
However, by flooding the country with troops and driving the active fundamentalist terrorists out of business while finishing the training of the Afghani defense and police forces, perhaps we can establish enough of a framework that the Afghanis can take it the rest of the way. That is about the greatest hope we can have for the region.
Still, the question remains, and many want an answer. Why are we still there? The answer increasingly appears to be so Barry can be a victorious wartime President, just like Bush. His lefty allies sure will not allow him to start another, if we could even afford to think about starting one. This is the war he's got, so this is the war he must win.
Problem is, while we may have the right commander on the ground, we do not have the right Commander in the White House.

Oh please… ever heard of a gag order? there are situations in a dispute where both parties agree to non-disclosure. Does that abridge their 1st amendment rights? How then can it be legal?
However I agree that a sense of honour would be a much better solution to this problem. You should be more careful about the scum you elect. (Yeah like we Canucks have any room to talk
) )
Dresden was fire bombed by the Brits in retaliation for Germans bombing Coventry. The result of Dresden was to demonstrate British willingness to take the pain of war to civilians; it was a blow to morale, probably equal to the blow to industrial capability.
But otherwise, excellent article and great comments. Thanks, all.
Make it 80,000.
How about the bull dagga brigade led by Rosie Odonnell?
I don't know. Does anybody actually believe that Bar'aq al Hussein has any desire to win this thing?
I think he just wants to hide in the West Wing doing this: http://quarterbloom.com/blog1/wp-content/uploads/...
Just saw the "tail end" of American Dad, where the Furry Party is in office. The First Squirrel is asked by his squirrel advisers what's first on his agenda. "Health care? Foreign policy?" The first squirrel ever to be elected stands looking out the window of the Oval Office and says "No, I'm gonna get me some of whatever's in that bird feeder across the street."
Bring him home…..hear my prayer! With pride and dedication to the men and women of the Armed Forces.
Dedicated to our fallen Soldiers.

It was pointless as the Germans were pretty much throwing in the towel to the Western allies when it happened.
US and UK (the Canucks were stuck clearing the coast) were motoring so quickly across Germany after crossing the Rhine that Stalin was sure that they were going to rob him of Berlin with the collusion of the Wehrmacht.
The Germans were quite well aware of the willingness of Bomber Harris to lay waste to their cities. Their response to the firebombings and thousand bomber raids were as phelgmatic as the British.
The Pashtuns are equally if not more fatalistic about death coming without warning from the sky. Targeted killings/assassinations actually work well because they teach the populace that proximity to high value targets is a bad thing and it encourages the HVTs to abuse their hospitality by insisting on having human shields. Not that it makes much difference……
Great article and great logic I believe most, majority of Americans support.
You said the magic words, "where both parties agree." We were talking about a law, where one party (the government) tells the other to shut up and take it.
First we send them to clean up Iran. Their fundamentalist Muslim leadership executes gays on a regular basis, that should provide the Pink Berets some added motivation.
You can tell by how the gays with the libs are pressing to get rid of "Don't ask, don't tell" that they are certain we will never again have the draft. Why would the gays want to get rid of their automatic out?
The gay warriors will strike fear in their hearts with the awsome power of homophobia. hell yeah I'm afraid of queers, I dont want AIDS!
You're an idiot. The Taliban are getting stronger in pakistan, launching attacks on major pakistani government buildings, and delegitimizing the paki government everyday. we need to stop worrying about paki sovereignty and start worrying about killing taliban and getting the nukes in pakistan, out of pakistan. Get some General.
If OBAMA can not listen to the expert he told us could evaulate the war then he should FIRE the man of coarse we all no he has done nothing but LIE.
Obama yells, "Hurry, pass Tarp, and bailouts. No time to read. Pass now!" But then Obama must rethink the whole war from top to bottom while our soldiers die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Obama is giving our enemies time to rebuild for an ambush of U.S. Forces. BO is setting the stage for a humiliating defeat and retreat for the U.S. military. Obama probably has the telepromter loaded with a concession speech declaring the loss of Bush's war while holding his Nobel Piece Prize.
"It had no military value to the collapsing Reich"
That's untrue, although that meme has become very fashionable. Dresden was in fact the German army's logistics hub for the Eastern Front. It also was the location of over 100 military-related factories, making everything from machine guns to aircraft engines. The RAF and USAAF together bombed it largely at Stalin's behest.
Additionally, the claim that the Reich was "collapsing" in February would I think get an argument from the tens of thousands of Allied soldiers who died between then and May. The Anglo-Americans were still stalled on the Roer and the Russians on the Bug and Oder.
Mr. Obama, get the troops on the ground as requested! I hope you never get the 3 am phone call. God knows how long it will take you to make a decision.
General McChrystal said he need 60,000 soldiers but was cutting back on the request to 40,000. I say give him everything he needs to fight and WIN the war. We have political hacks in congress and a clueless president so listen to the general!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mission: WIN THE WAR OBAMA! This was the real war, right? If we don't have a C&C we had damn well better get one and fast. Obama and the Democrat (progressives) have once again demonstrated their total INCOMPENDENCE in defending the country. Much like the economy, this regimes is over their head.
Half-assed methods don't work. If this piss ant poser president has time for date night, vacations, golf, flying all over the world in his work for the unions….I think he might want to at least make believe he has a backbone. I never thought I'd say it but I miss Bush! At least I knew Bush loved and defended this country.
Clearly, this administration is unwilling to fight the war. There is a difference between being unwilling and unable so I have to question why. The only war this administration want to fight is against America!

Amen Army Mom! Can't anyone else see what a FRAUD this "man" in the oval office is? He dances to his own tune and loves only the reflection in his mirror. He is an expert at flattery and deception to get his own twisted way. The only campaign promise he has been good on is….CHANGE! Boy has the USA changed! And that is not for the good! WAKE UP CITIZENS PLEASE!!!
Yep. You're in the Army now!
I feel he is waiting to make a decision until Israel bombs Iran. He's waiting on foreign political cover.
Great idea, but who's kidding who, they wouldn't even make it through boot camp. Hell, our Narcissist in Chief couldn't even make it through boot camp.
Our soldiers are getting killed because they're being told to fight with one hand tied behind their backs. I could tell you story upon story and example upon example of how our soldiers in Iraq hands were tied, and now in Afghanistan it's even worse, because Obama has our soldiers read the terrorits their Miranda rights, and if they don't talk, they have to release them in 72 hours. Is it any wonder our troop morale is soooo low??
Amen! Our soldiers think that Obama is a sick joke and has no business as their Commander in Cheif.
Good, and I'm glad that it's becoming obvious to everyone what a sick joke of a man Obama really is.
POTUS is not considering a wining position. That would take less time. POTUS is looking for a way out that makes it appear that POTUS is a world leader and did, in fact, deserve the Prize he was given.
Narcissists are serial liars. For them, it's all about about them and gaining applause. They have no principles, no conscience. And I am dead serious about this, and I can't for the life of me understand why the psychiatric community has not come forward regarding this.
And after his speech this weekend to the gays, he should have said, great, all you guys join up right now, because we need you on the front lines in Afghanistan!
Of course, which is why he always voted "present" in the senate. Narcissists have no principals, no conscience to guide them. They are totally empty headed on all issues except getting personal applause.
I like the name Zippy, but I think Skippy would a more approprate name, dontcha think?
Yep, Circle Jerk in Chief.
I have a great picture, but don't know how to post it? But it's a pic of Bush and the caption says, "Miss Me Yet?"
It's adorable, I wish I could post it??? And, our soldiers loved Bush because they knew he had their backs.
He wants One World Government.
Extremely well said. It is an American issue.
Yep, for him it's all about appeasement and applause.
FABulous idea!!
