We are in the middle of a Black Swan Event; all the talking hads, all the economists, the politicians, the Fed Chairman, the Treasury Secretary and all the rest of the "experts" babbling incoherently are akin to scared little boys whistling in the dark. Who are they trying to convince of a recovery? Them, or US. Perhaps the rest of the world who bought our junk debt and paid for our party of wild excesses over the last twenty years?

One does not have to a Physicist, or an expert in Geometry or Mathematics to read that red line in the chart. That line is going nowhere but down; and the second shoe is yet to drop. The experts talk aqbout a "V" shaped, or a "U" shaped recovery? They talk about a soft landing? This wreck in progress has the glide angle of a watermelon. Just wait until it hits bottom, it won't be pretty.

Who got US here? There is no one individual to singularly lay the blame on; it has been a generational experience in bad management, poor planning, irresponsible fiscal oversight and deficit spending. The one person who was there the longest, who held the reins of control in his hands, was Alan Greenspan.

One of the comments mentioned that nobody specific was to blame for this and I have to take exception to it.

We have been researching and documenting that the offshoring of our resources and jobs are definitely the direct cause of our current economic crisis and that it is going to get worse because our publicly traded corporations are still sending our jobs offshore by the hundreds of thousands.

There are 154 million employed workers here in America and contrary to what the governments unemployment report states, there are about 30 million unemployed.

Not only that, but it takes about 52,000 per year per household to survive in America, yet only about 20 percent of Americans make more then that amount and now that the corporations are shipping those jobs offshore, the economy has no way to recover unless we reverse the trend.

The fix might be in. Look for some kind of "big event" to boost the Democrats come election time. Maybe we will capture Bin Laden. Knowing Obama, after the elections, he might put Bin Laden on trial and find him innocent and release him.

The banks ran out of money because no money or credit was issued for the interest portion of the debt.
As a result, a shortage of currency happens and eventually the debt w/interest can't be paid back and the lender ends up with the property/assets/work(s) of the borrower.

What did president idiot think was gonna happen when he extended unemployment benefits, aka created an incentive not to work. In his weak attempt to be liked and be egalitarian, he has helped people stay unemployed longer, to the detriment of those who need to find work and the whole nation by further draining the treasury by paying more unemployment benefits. Obama and his minions ideology has it all wrong, they didnt help anyone they hurt people and they hurt the country. We need a politician who can give some tough love, and Obama talks about people having political courage, yeah it takes alot of courage to give away the treasury so people think your a nice guy, the guys a moron!
